Looking for a good artist.....
As the subject implies, I'm looking for a good artist. Of course, this would have to be one that draws just for the fun of it (no money), and one that can draw based off descriptions and creative enough to add whatever they think they should to make it better. If you're interested, here is the person's description below:
Name: Veryn Refirge Age: 51 Ignussian Years (approx. 39 Earth years) Race: Ignussian (Humanoid Reptilian) Hair: None Eyes: Dark Green Height: 7' 3" Weight: 284 lbs. Alignment: Lawful Neutral (If this helps) Skin-Color: Red scales/skin Interests: Martial arts, conjuring, meditation, telepathy Disinterests: War, fighting Personality: Fearless, cunning, intelligent, peaceful ************************* Weapons: Hand to Hand, Quarter Staff, Bo Armour: Long flowing blue robe w/ hood Accessories: Insignia Ring (Represents position in his Monastery), Ignussian Necklace (Represents that he has diplomatic immunity) Goals: Diplomatic interests and perfecting the Ignussian Arts(Martial Arts and Conjuring Arts). If you need better description, I can create a better one. It would be awesome if I got someone to do this just for fun. Also, if you liked drawing Veryn, and you'd like to draw more of my characters, tell me and I'll post more character descriptions here. |

![]() I was working on the staff and I just kept going. I got a little carried away, i guess. Also I had no idea what half the things you said meant, lol. Might I ask, what did you want the artist for?

Well, I'm very frustrated with my characters. I have a great, artistic mind, I juat don't have the talent to transfer from mind to paper/computer. I wish to share my characters with the world, in some shape or form. Since I can't draw, I've been trying to years to get someone else to draw them. This is the first time someone actually responded, heh.
My coolest character, Grub, may as well be one of the hardest to convey from my mind. I also can't explain character appearance very well also. Also, I know about the liberties....I was just stating that, that's all. Here's a description of Grub: Name: Grub Age: 4 Gender: Male Race: Organic (Labratory Creation) Hieght: 11' 7" Wieght: 591 lbs. Birthplace: Trisol Interests: His Club, His Home, Cute Animals, Serene Scenery Disinterests: Complexity, Not Nice People Personality: Dumb, Nice, Friendly, Gentle Appearance: Centaur-like body, hairless, dark green to olive green skin, warty, has a third arm on his back(around where the saddle of a horse would be), the third arm's elbow faces to his hind-side, allowing his third hand to palm his head(his normal stance has his third hand on his head), small beady eyes with a bright red eye color, normally carries his spiked club with his right hand Other Information: Lives in an abandoned cave along a road, Grub was artificially created in Xervuis' lab and was to be exterminated for being a failed experiment. He escaped Xervius' lab and took over the abandoned cave. He is very simple, very naturistic, and hates loud noises. He is always trying to look for companionship, but everyone avoids him because of his grotesque (and very intimitating) physique. He does not like to hurt anything, but his child-like mind cannot comprehend the damage he always seems to cause. His tremendous strength has allowed him to make a very crude but efficient giant spiked club. This is but the surface of a very immersive universe that I've been creating since 2 years ago. The universe itslef hasn't evolved much, but the races inhabiting it are very immersive and interesting (IMO anyhow). |

Yes, his third arm is the same size and proportion as his other arms. It's just growing out of his back, heh.
Also, nice finished Veryn pic, Ducky. ![]() And Kaz, I'm just happy that anyone would draw my characters, so I take what I can get. ![]() The rest of my characters aren't as thought out as these two (These being my prime characters to develop). The only other one remotely close is Xervius (Necromancer Samurai of a sort) or Strip(Ninja and comic relief). My other characters (In order of development): Strip Kyat Xervius Gregory Vercoln (Sir Vercoln) Chris Faringhar (Not named after myself) Remsal Xez Sinitri Reinsa Dyon Byum Sara Fillmore Kaela Williams Farah Yryn Jarah Yryn Last edited by Xeno; Mar 5, 2002 at 02:51 PM. |

I say, Xeno, he's essentially a centaur, right, so what colour is his horse-half?
(If he's NOT a centaur, which is what I took, so sorry ![]() `Duckay

I meant that he had the shape of a centaur. I also said that he was dark green to olive green in color.
Also, he is supposed to be very grotesque and ugly. He is also very strong and muscular (Hence his weight). He also has a very large build. |

Hm...
Looks like my character Cromus, except he's got no staff and robe.
This is wierd. I'm seeing characters that resemble other people's characters. Is... *gasp* The community of Jazz2 repeating itself? That must mean that eventually this site will... *eeep!* Hehe. Anyway, I'd draw your character, Xeno, but I once drew other people's characters before. I stopped that for two reasons: Too many requests, and the fear of that person claiming the art as their own. But it is fun to draw other people's characters because it's challenging and helps you practice with new styles. That's why I rely on DrJones or Cobra to give me something to draw now when my creative imagination isn't working. ![]() Anyway, really cool pic, Ducky. ![]() |
