Is JJ2 a DOS or Windows game?

Secondly, in the macintosh version i can only hear .s3m, .xm and .it formats not .mod or .j2b. Does anyone else have this problem?

It's a windows game. You can't hear mods or j2b files because JJ2 is designed to be a PC game. The mac port is bound to have bugs like this.
