Yeah, and I intend to make one!
(Is this general talk? Most of my posts were recenly moved... hee hee It is!) Anyway, don't ask me to try to put in the "main theme" from the jazz jackrabbit song (y'all ready for this? bum ba... bum ba ba crash... etc.) The mod editing is strange, because I don't know the actual note of the sound sample! It could be an E, or an... Bb! Argh I'm been considerin' this for a while, so anyone gots ideas? I'm pretty skilled at the guitar and I have a good drum-beat makin' song. I can add lyrics with a computer-made voice (AT&T labs thing... it sounds real!) And I could try to add some other things. I could add some samples from the game, but i'm open for suggestions... obviously it'll be an MP3 this IS general talk! it's about jazz, and it's general. ![]() |

naw, this tts will surprise you. If you put simple little sentences, like "Jazz says hi!" then it'll come out good. But if you put in a 100pg essay it'll sound weird at some parts, but good.

Why don't you just convert the JJ1 .psm menu song to an Impulse Tracker file (.it), and then just remix it? =P

I hate remixing stuff... it just feels like you actually DIDN't make the song, but just messed up a previous one! Anyways, I have the MOD files for both the Jazz 1 and Jazz 2 theme song (menu song). I forget if they're MODs, ITs, S3Ms or whatever but yes... i edited 'em before to find the theme... I said on my first post on this message that I don't know what note it actually IS because if the sample was recorded as a, for example, Gb ( I can't figure it out) and then the notes in the song are either raised in pitch or lowered, in order to make the song. If I could find out what the base note is, then yes. I could figure it out fine. I'm just askin' for ideas or what kind of theme this song should have... such as a Banjo theme, or a hard-core metal theme (yeah!) or a slow, sad sort of theme. What do you prefer?

Forget the "base"-note. Just follow the melody-line.

Now now, i'm not saying Jazz is horrible... i'm just saying Spaz can get to places faster and to higher places... but all levels should be utilizable with Spaz AND Jazz... don't forget Lori! She's like some strange combination of Jazz and Spaz, with Jazz's helicopter ears and a pulse-sort Spaz sidekick.

whoops! Sorry about that last post... it was meant to be in the "Who's better: Jazz or Spaz"? Too many windows open and forgot what's going on.
Anyway, I've decided on what to do, and I already have the first little 10 seconds of the song done. It is still mostly an experiment, trying to get the guitar syncronized with the drums (stupid metronome! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!) It's a metal-kind of whatnots, saying how Jazz is ready to kill Devan Shell... I might add some of the Jazz theme, but I'm not done anything big yet... it'll come soon, but I haveta go back to stupid school, which is simply another thorn in the side! ![]() |

naw. thanx anyways, but I'm kinda independant. Anyways, the song'll be done God only knows. I work on it occasionally, plus I need to think of a GOOD song. It may be a little difficult to get part of the JJ2 song in. Gotta learn it first!
