Is there a font of the letters of Jazz2 (I mean the letters where ur name is spelled of)???

I think it's using a font similar to Arial.

I like it.

I don't know of a specific JJ2 font. The characters you see in the game is just a bitmap font, unlike the TTF or FON Windows fonts. (meaning you can't directly convert the characters used in JJ2 to a Windows font)

There may be however, other fonts that are very close to those in JJ2, but I don't know of any off the top of my head.

I don't think that there's a font like that available, but I have an idea of how it was made. It's too long to explain, but it's similar to how I make homemade Jazz 2 icons and pictures.

I suppose it is possible to convert the font, but it'd be too much trouble for what it's worth. On the other hand, the Descent II font was very worth it. ;D

Does anyone know how to make a font then?

I want to make one if it doesnt exist yet.

newspaz, what your waiting for then??? ask shadow to convert it to true type! or let someone else do it.

Anm (Deluxe Paint animation for the ones want to know ) is a picture format, like .bmp, .gif and .jpeg are. The pictures of the JJ1 sets in the Tiles folder of your JJ2 folder are in .anm format. Right now, i'm dying to know what program can read that format!

I don't think the jj2 fonts can be converted to TrueType since the JJ2 font uses a lot more colours.

Actually, Newspaz, it's not because it uses a lot more colors, it's because it USES colors. Windows-based fonts only have two colors, black and white. Of course, there are the multiple colors for fonts too.

Oh eh, that thingh of Electric still only gives you ONE font color. And no contour, shading, fill. So we get back to the problem.

I don't think the JJ2 chat font was ever truley a font. Unless you try something like cutting every single letter out of the alphabit using screenshots, I dunno how it will work. I am not a genius at fonts, but I do my best to help. :P
