Proof that I DONT RIP STUFF!!! AAAHHH!!!
Ok, I've heard it enough lately to drive me nuts, I HATE RIPPING!!! RIPPING IS EVIL!!! DO NOT RIP!!! AND I DO NOT RIP!!! OKAY?!?!?!?! Good!
Now, I will show you how I made those leaves in the tarzan tileset that I 'ripped' from Agama and Epic. Paint Shop Pro 7 was used... Firstly, you need to draw a nice template of a leaf, the trick is to start off with somehting that kinda looks like a heart, and then add in the little bumps and bends on the sides to make it looka bit more real. After that just draw a small black line through. ![]() After that, you need to add the colour (green obviously) to the leaf and start to get it ready for the next step. I chose 192 green for the leaves in the tileset. After the leaf is green, select the background colour around it and make it the same colour as the leaf itself, make sure you dont deselect or you will lose the form of your leaf. This is just to prevent the blue blending in wiht the green when you will blur (next step) ![]() Then, invert the selection (Selections --> Invert) to select the leaf itself and give it a Gaussian Blur (Effects --> Blur --> Gaussian Blur) of around 1, the leaf in this example had a blur of 1.20. Inver the selection again and return the background colour back to normal. ![]() And next, for the hardest (yeah right) part in drawing the leaf. Add a new layer (click the small little white button on the layer view) and copy and paste the leaf in the background into the new layer, keeping it at its original position. After that you replace the old leaf in the background with a very dark green (64 grene is used here). You shouldnt be able to see any changes unless you choose not to make the top layer visible (which is what I have done for the screenie) ![]() ![]() Reselect the top layer and use the magic wand to select the outside of the leaf, then feather (Selections --> Modify --> Feather) by 4 pixels ![]() Press the 'Delete' key three times and deselect everything. You basically have a finished leaf now. ![]() And then to compare it to the others I made for the tileset... ![]() Hmmm, I forgot to add noise, oh well, reselect the leaf and add 15% noise (Effects --> Noise --> Add) to get the final result of the example leaf: ![]() I can see some changes already between the two versions, It used different values than I did now, as I cant remember them outta my head from all that time. Perhaps a 3 pixel feather, with delete pressed 2 times, and 10% noise is the ones I used in the set. The rest from there is easy, make a few others that look a bit different and copy and paste them together into tiles. (the smaller leaves are actually the big ones that I halved the size and reduced the lightness a bit). If you want to do that too go to 'Image --> Resize' and choose resize by percentage (50%) with a pixel resize method. Then go to Colors --> Adjust --> Hue/ Saturation/Lightness and reduce lightness by 30 (-30). There, thats it, leaves built from scratch. I double, wait, I TRIPLE dare you to say I ripped other tiles, it'll be fun to prove you wrong ![]()

Yes. You didn't rip the leaves (I didn't think you did, but oh well). But now I accuse you of ripping EVERYTHING ELSE!!! HAHAHAHAHA!! Now you better prove me wrong and show me how to make everything you do! PROVE ME WRONG! I DARE YOU! :-p

*hisses sharply*
Disguise is an artist. Ripping, plagiarism, or any sort of copying is not his style. I know him more than anyone else do (Do i, wisety? n.n *huggles*) and believe me, he wouldn't _EVER_ rip anything. He's a devoted artist and such things as ripping or plagiarism shouldn't even be joked about. It's such a great insult to the person that worked so hard onto it. His 'art' may have some ressemblances to Agama (which I really don't think is true-- wisety's art is unique to me.) but Disguise would never, and I repeat /NEVER/ rip anything from any tileset or whatever. That's not even a subject to be aborded. Don't you ever joke about that stuff. It's upsetting, irritating and strongly insulting even if you don't mean it. |

I WOULD NEVER RIP!!! AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!
Okay, since URJazzCC accuses me of ripping, I will now demonstrate how to make (and I quote) 'everythign you do!'
Paint Shop Pro 7 was used... Firstly, you need a rather wide image, 200x50 would do fine... ![]() When that is done, use the text tool and select somewhere in the bottom middle of the image, you are welcome to copy the effects I used below, but anything would do fine (as long as it isn't bigger than the image itself). ![]() Once that is done, press OK and deselect everyhting, you now have your final result of 'everyhting you do!' ph33r! ![]() ![]() and...and...*bursts out in tears of joy!* GUMMIIIII!!!!!! DAT WAS LUBLEEEE!!!! I LUB U SOOOOO!!!!! *BEEEEEG SSF GUGGI 4EVA!!!*

*LOOKS SHOCKED*
So that's how you do "everything you do!" BTW, Disguise was wrong!!! And I REALLY QUOTE "(and I quote) 'everythign you do!' " As many of you can see, I said "everything you do!". He also wrongly wrote it here : "final result of 'everyhting you do!' ph33r!" MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
