I suck at JCS
In my level, I want to un-trigger a trigger scenery, or, at least let it wear off after some time. Is that even possible? Thanks.
(P.S. How do you make it rain/snow with a rain/snow tile?) |

Snow can be done with an event. Rain has to have rain tiles. As for your first question, I'm not exactly sure. I thing some of Overlord's levels had moving trigger scenery that could be activated.

Trigger...Zone?
What is the item (from that list of things you can pick) for a trigger zone? Maybe you can't do it in Multiplayer

Just use the Trigger Zone event. Works in multiplayer. Set the TriggerID to whatever TriggerID, and "Switch" and "Onoff" to 0. If your JCS.ini doesn't have Trigger Zone (It would be in Gameplay: Area or Gameplay: Triggers and Scenery) get one that does.
As for the rain/snow tiles, put them in a seperate layer. Tile them. The auto-Y speed is how fast it will go up, so set it to negative for falling. Left is positive auto-X speed, and right is negative. |

One is available for download in J2O's download section.

Alright..
I downloaded the .ini, thanks. There are a few things I don't like, with the Platforms inbetween all of the Maiin topics, but I do like having the platforms. Trigger Zone doesn't seem to be working, but I'll experiment more.
Later On: Actually, It's just that the Trigger Zone doesn't work with the Trigger number 0. Not trying to be a bother, but I can't quite get the level to be significantly darker. I even copied it out of the Jazz levels. Maybe I'm just missing something haha. Last edited by The Hye Circus; Aug 5, 2002 at 11:04 AM. |

Platforms don't work in internet multiplayer (other then cooperative), no matter what your .ini makes you think.
Use Set Lights with light below 100. 50, for example. Make sure you have Ambient Lighting on, you have not typed the JJLight code, and there is no water in the level, because any one of these will make your lighting events not work. |

Huh
I can't quite get it to work. It must work in multiplayer. I changed the Min and Start setting on properties. I use the set light and change the intensity (wrong one?). I copy it off of the Castle Night and the Colony 1 levels... nothing seems to work.

Are you sure you have Ambient Lighting on and Hardware Acceleration off?

The Levels Done
Alright, I finished the level. We need to figure out a time to play the level though. I need some people to play the level properly. If we could do it tonight it would be great!

You dont need snow tiles to make snow
![]() Events>Environment>Scenery>snow. Put these all around the start position and you have REAL snow.
