Jazz1 Help
When i (try) and run my registered Jazz1, i get the usual runtime error 200 or watevr. Then i downloaded TTPatch, it didnt work, same error. Then Mo Slo, same thing. I even tried editing its properties to try and run it in my Windows. But it dosent work. This is a "Old Dos game" i have one other game- Star Wars X-WING COLLECTORS CD-ROM. like this with a distant, yet similar problem-IT WONT RUN!!!!! . I think these programs require EMS Memory (Extended Memory) which is only basically available in Windows 95+98.
BTW i forgot 2 mention system info: Version: Windows ME or(maybe) Windows 98 professional (if that has nething to do wit this) MS DOS Prompt Lots of XMS Memory. some free memory 0% EMS Memory. I tried basically everything. I really need ur help if im gonna defeat Devan again muhahahaaa(by using cheats ofcource ![]() or Orbitus and..oh, u get the idea ![]()

Are you sure you patched file0001? It is hard to understand TPPatch since the text is in a different language. The easiest way to do it is to drag the file over the patch (or it might be vice versa. I'm not sure which way.) Whatever the case, a runtime error is not the sort of error you should get if you have applied the patch.

OK, i put jazz onto TTPtach.exe and there was german it said:
Überprüfe die Datei ...C:\JAZZ\JAZZ.EXE ist keine von TP7/BP7 erzeugte Datei. If someone could translate it maybe i could figure it out. Then when i try and patch the fileooo1.exe it says: Überprüfe die Datei ...Datei ist ok. Die Datei wird jetzt gepatcht... Fertig. Ofcource im hopeless at german/hollands/dutch so could someone plz translate this?

"Examine the file... c:\jazz\jazz.exe is none of TP7/BP7 produced file."
"Examine the file... file is ok. The file now gepatcht... Finished." Assuming that "gepatcht" means "patched", then JJ1 is patched, and you just aren't doing something right.

I explained everything in my article (in the J2O articles section). If you had bothered to check the topic immediately underneath this one, entitled "Jazz1: Technical Problems", you would have also seen it.
For the full version, patch "file0001.exe". For shareware versions and Holiday Hare versions, patch "jazz.exe" I can't believe how many times we have to explain this
