if we all put in enough money (i think i figgered about 100 bucks each), we could pay to use the unreal engine on JJ3. That would solve that problem. As for a producer, well, it could be a fan game or something, right?

Don't think Jazz ain't Copyrighted. Jazz & Spaz are copyright Epic Megagames 1997-1998.
They own Jazz, we don't. We'll need Jazz to in order to have a game called Jazz Jackrabbit3. And further, I don't have the idea noog and the rest of the team is willing to work further without any payment. They have build the game till now unpayed. |

I would help, but since I'm in the 4th Dimension, things are simply unreal.
I have some money, but I can't give any of it away until someone pulls me out of the Shadow Realm, thank you very much. |

I dont think everybody needs to give $100.
There are much jazzers and there are about 200 of them on the JCF. 200x100=20000 Does it really cost that much? But if i would get a free copy of JJ3 when I do it I will give $100.

We (Kiku also, she's my friend) are actually paid not to make sense, ElectroPizzie. That is soooo cool.
As far as FreeLance 57's idea here, I still think he needs Alantrium back (or however you spell it) because his calculator is obviously broken ![]()

I've been saving to get...something. A new piece of technology or a few books, but I will give it away so that we can have JJ3.

The question is not weather we can raise enough money, the question is if there is enough money to release the game...
Why dont people just work on it for free. :S

Epic owns the rights to Jazz.
|
May 20, 2001, 10:27 AM | |
well..... I have enough money to pay for that, but why would I?!?!?! Sure, I want Jazz3, maybe even more than the rest of you. but I'm saving up for a laptop, so I'm not willing to pay $100! if it was like $25 - $50 I'd pay, (provided that I got a free JJ3 game), but most of us Jazzers are kids, and cannot afford $100 for the rights of the Unreal engine. espically if it is in US funds, due to exchange rates. (I live in Canada, and if it was in US funds, it would be like paying $150 Canadian!) But a lot of us kids still can afford to, but don't want to pay.
(p.s. I AM NOT CHEAP!!!!!!!) |
