Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

I'm having a problem, as some of you know, I have version 1.22. So I downloaded the 1.23 upgrade patch and used it, then I got an error message saying file size/version missmatch. Well, I checked, and my Jazz Jackrabbit 2 version size was bigger than the one needed to upgrade. I looked for a solution, didnt find any on the daily carrot site. Ive tried removing Jazz, and installing it again, but still, same error message. I need 1.23, somebody out there HELP!!!

I am not sure. But I don't think you'll need a upgrade patch. I think 1.22 is like 1.23 compatible to 1.21 which should enable you to play on the net if you install the listserver patch.

By the way, are you sure you didn't replace the exe file before you tried to upgrade?

Trust me, you aren't the only one with this problem. If you are unable to host, make sure that a firewall isn't blocking the connection.

Are you sure you got the right patch version?

Don't get the shareware patch if you have the full version nor vice-versa.

(Should be in tech help)

It was moved. Another problem could be your router.

1. I downloaded the registered version patch
2. I installed it on Drive F, and it will stay on drive F.!

I guess this is one problem that can never be solved......

Also, I checked my filesize and it was bigger than the one needed to upgrade. I wonder why that....
