.............
Well, I know you all told me if I had a router, the answer is no.
I can join games properly, but when I host, I play windowed screen, I go check games in progress, and my server isnt there? I have a 56k modem, Windows 98, and and a Sprint canada internet connection. I do not have a firewall, I dont know how to host, I have the list server patch, Jazzcommander 1.4, Jazztool etc. So whenever I host, I dont seem to be hosting in the right place. I hope I aint getting on your nerves, and please dont use difficult words such as LAM port intel syscom directer or something like that, remember, I am 1-5 years younger then you.

Well first of all you need to have a better subject than "............."
As for your problem, if your server is not listed, it means that it is not being listed. The most likely cause is that you don't have the list server patch. Get the list server patch (it's available on Haze's Hideout but that is down right now; try and find it somewhere else or get someone to send it to you) and double click on it. It is a .reg file, and when you double click on it it will add the information to the registry.

If you have the latest version of JJ2, the list server patch installed, no interference with any firewall or proxy, have an internet connection, are hosting an internet game, and the list servers are up.., then it should work.
I don't know why it wouldn't.

Actually, I have version 1.22
I tried upgrading to 1.23, but it said the filesize of my jazz 2 exe was bigger than the one needed to upgrade. I reinstalled, and my size was still to big for it. When I host, my server isnt listed in the games in progress section for some reason. Maybe its because of 1.22......

Thanks still, but I downloaded the upgrade patch on J20, upgraded, started a new internet play server and it worked. Thanks for all your help, now I will create dull levels to torment people playing online.
