Question about lvl making.
How do you put things in the fore and background?
Every time I do it, it comes out all weird, and it starts shifting when I walk by it... |

..of course it moves if you walk by it. That's the illusion of perspective, you know.
If you want the layers to move at the same speed as Layer 4, set X and Y speeds to 1. If you want them to not move at all (in relation to the screen, not Jazz), set X and Y speeds to 0. |

Yeah, they but walls I want Jazz to walk by, they just detach themselves from the floor and start sliding...

That's a common thing: for one reason or another layer 3 doesn't have layer 4's speeds set as a standard... Just change the relative X and Y speeds to 1 in the layer proporites.
A reminder to clear all misunderstandings (ok, so I'm bored too, who cares ![]() Jazz 2 supports a total of 8 layers: 2 foreground layers (1 and 2), 4 background layers (5 to 8) and 2 player layers (3 and 4). In low detail, only layer 3,4 and 8 are shown. |

You know, I find it interesting that I give you the answer, you kind of ignore it, JelZe gives you the same answer and you accept it.
