If you were to read the past posts, the state of Possum is sort of idle. There is very little work currently being done on it, which is why there hasn't been any news.

I know they say it's "idle", but generally, when something dosn't move for over a year, it's dead.

The situation can be summed up as follows:
Nobody wants to work on it. You can interpert that either way you like. |

Didn't Metal quit the team? If so, asking him probably won't help you much.

Really...it would be nice for at least some news, or anything really. I mean, it's understandable that the team would be too busy to work on it, but it would at least be nice to get some news about what's going on.

Possum isn't a fangame.

Possum is a game supposedly being worked on by a group of people who used to play JJ2. Maybe some of them still do, not sure. After JJ3 was cancelled, they decided to make their own game, but it is NOT a fangame, but an independant game with no more relation to Jazz then the authors, and maybe a few "borrowed" gameplay elements. But hey, what do you call Jazz's relation to Sonic?
