Phinn, younger, with noir shading

I just made this as a quick test doodle with my handy Sharpie... I was going for a bit of a noir-like dramatic shading. Phinn's looking upward and seeing something that's spooking her out badly.

So, opinions? It WAS just a quick doodle, after all...

(Who's Phinn, you ask? Haven't you been reading The Dementia of Magic? :-) )

Hmm... Something about that reminds me of those "Tracer Bullet" features that Bill Watterson occationally did in "Calvin and Hobbes"...

defalcon: Shame she doesn't wear her hair like that anymore, ain't it? :-) But, I was kinda going for what she'd look like and wear her hair/clothes like when she was younger, so, well...

Batty: Yep, that's the idea I was going for. Something noir-like and dramatic like that. I loved the Tracer Bullet strips. :-)
