Problem with JJ2 and ICS
I have 3 computers here, all connected to a network and all connected to the Internet through Internet Connection Sharing.
My problem is, I get a CTO after like 20 seconds after connecting a JJ2 server, with one of the computers that arent the computer where internet "comes in". I was wondering if anybody else has this problem and knows a solution, -thnx |

Ahem, did you just call JAzz 2 crappy....
How DARE you!!!!!!!!!!1 Anyway, I have this problem too. I don't know any other reason for you to have this problem other than having a router. Check how your computers are stringed together through the network, or if you're sure you don't have one, then I don't know. According to KRSplat... When you have a router, you have to open up ports 10052-10056 to host or not time out. If you host, the serverlist will show your server as pinging forever. If you join, you will time out. Hope that helps

The problem is that JJ2 requires a direct connection to the game server. This cannot be done with a setup like Internet Connection Sharing, unless it has special options for opening or forwarding ports. If it does, get the IP of the computer you want to play JJ2 on and forward ports 10052-10054 to it. If not, you should try and find a software package that does the same thing as ICS, but has forwarding features.
But I would recommend getting a router, if you have three computers.
