Question Is anyone still playing this?

Hey everyone!!!
I'm NighthawkAR, a long time player and level creater of J2. I want to know if anyone is still playing this.... and does anyone remember me? I remember all of you....

I stopped playing this about ... ohh... 2 years ago? I can't remember.. but I played for 2 years. (I stopped playing because everyone mysteriously was gone the day i got cable......) oh well.
So, whats up everyone? Don't hesitate to reply to this... I want to know you answers.

First of all, welcome back!

Please lessen the exclimation points in your location. It makes your post very thin for me.

Yes, we're still quite here. There isn't a server up constantly, but most of the time there is. Maybe you just checked at a bad time.

Again, welcome back to Jazz 2!

If you look at the memberlist, and perhaps at the server lists, it should be evident people still play.

We still play, I remember the name Nighthawk (Mod of War Tavern on JMMB? Or is that Nightfire? Or...), and WB.

Yeah, ok I'll stop putting so many `!`s, but I'm so excited. I have checked many many times for servers, but they're all gone. Maybe I'll go on again some time. Do you know if any of the people i will list are still on? (I wrote these people down along time ago for some reason)

Hip Chick
Silvericer
Ryu A$
SpazTheBest
Xmas Taco (Or taco)
Kirby Kp (Or kirby)
Aqua
Ghost

I may remember more later.

P.S.... how do you get an icon by your name in a post.

Que Passa!!!!

I just played the game once again.

The thing is, reguardless of what the game is, one cannot really play it constently... Think about it- it's like eating cottage cheese 24-7. So I just take breaks when I get sick of it. But nevertheless, if I like the game enough, I WILL return to it.

Welcome back. Unfortunately, I don't think any of the players you mentioned still played. As for the exclimation marks, I meant your location ("Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!") - your posts are fine. Sorry about that. ;-P

Anyway, avatars (the little icons) are disabled on this board. But you can always put a picture in your signature.

What do you play now?

I remember a time when the second I got home I played this, until I was too tired to go to sleep, and played almost every hour on the weekend. I miss that.... :'(

Anyway... What happened to all of you? What game do you play now? Or have you all stopped playing *shudder* every game.

Out of curiosity, are you getting an Error Connecting to List Servers? Because there are servers up right now. ;P

If that's it, you need the list server patch. There are servers, it's just that you are contacting the wrong server list.

When you have a router, you have to open up ports 10052-10056 to host or not time out. If you host, the serverlist will show your server as pinging forever. If you join, you will time out.

(So no, I can't.)

< img src="URL" alt="Alternate Text" >
Embed a graphic image in the document. Attributes: src
Specifies the location of the image.
alt
Allows a text string to be put in place of the image in clients that cannot display images.
align
Specify a relationship to surrounding text. The argument for aligncan be one of top, middle, or bottom.
ismap
If ismapis present and the image tag is within an anchor, the image will become a "clickable image". The pixel coordinates of the cursor will be appended to the URL specified in the anchor if the user clicks within the ismap image. The resulting URL will take the form "URL?m,n" where m and n are integer coordinates, and the URL will specify the location of a program that will examine the pixel coordinates, and return an appropriate document.

Another person I remember
I don't know his name, but I know he started and was leader of the SSB clan, which I remember at the time was a real big clan.

Do you know the name, and is he still playing?

Also, what ever happeneed to jazz2city.com?
Did it go away while I wasn't looking?
Is there a way to get to the forums on that site? I need to look up something I wrote there a while ago.

Nonono, it wasn't kirby. Kirby wasn't the leader. Or if he was, I'm thinking of the wrong clan.

I'm getting my router ports opened today.
I sure hope it works. I'll do it once I've finished my homework and watched Lotr

:P Welcome back!
The reason why you didn't see anyone as soon as you got cable was because everyone was turned into fish.
That's right. It all makes sense now, doesn't it?

I saw *a* kirby not long ago. I don't know if it was the kirby you are speaking of. He/she uploaded a level/tileset to J2O a few weeks ago. I saw Ryu last month, but haven't seen him lately. All the others are gone AFAIK.

Oh, and WB.

Welcome back,
I saw you playing yestarday d:
To answer your question: In my opinion most the people on JCF are more JCFers than Jazzers and lost the essence of JJ2, very few play more Jazz than visiting the forums (I tried doing that but now am kinda back to the forums).
Basiclly, avoid the forum, play the game ;p but visit the forum...... s:
