actually you wont see me in the misc forum, i just wanted to say that the J2O theme rocks!! you should make it the only one to choose from. different colour themes make it harder to create an "identity" (or how to say it) of a board if you know what i mean.

i also would still suggest the name "Jazz 2 Online Forum". there shouldnt be any doubt that the forum is a part of j2o.

just my two cents.

oh yeah, some more ideas:

a post counter. i want one ))

and to make the connection to j2o again:

wouldnt it be easier if any j2o member could log-in to this board with his j2o data.

i guess in the long run it would be way easier to handle for you, the admins.

and it would be less confusing.

more ideas coming. fquist, youre ***THE MASTER!!!*** great work!

Well, we'd need to recreate most of the graphics. And for people not associated to j2o we would rather keep j2o out of the name.

It's true that the identity can depend on graphics, but let's just say that the identity should be made out of the fun, not the look.

Well, actually to do that would be quite hard for us cause we would have to integrate all of the mysql tables from J2O and JCF. It would be hard to do seeing as how the systems are different, already started and a few of the fields in the tables would over lap causing us to also change many scripts in places...

We have removed post-counters because people tend to spam because of it..

Integrating j2o and these forums would be very hard, because the two things use totally different approaches, and we still would like to not associate this with jazz2online too much.

Keep the ideas coming, and thanks.

Newspaz is talking to me in a chat right now...quote: "Integrating everything would get boring."

In my opinion, guys, integrating everything is *THE KEY* to a strong, long-living Jazz2 community. I really suggest to think about it. We have to put together all power to live. I hope the DJ admins are reading this, too. My suggestion (and i repeat them often )): merge this board, j2o and jdc into one! it will be a big success, i bet.

But it won't be possible, because of the differences between j2o, jdc and these forums

Note: j2o will be getting more integrated into these forums with the use of panels and links..
