Jazz Jackrabbit over the years
What's your favorite Jazz Jackrabbit look?
Mines is the JJ1 look.

Is this poll about your favorite Jazz appearence or your favorite from the series? Either way, I think I'll go with JJ2. JJ3 really isn't a game, anyway.

I think the main reason Jazz looked less like a cute bunny with a big gun in JJ2 is that then (if I'm assuming timelines correctly) anthromorphs/furrys were more popular/recognized then in the JJ1 days, and Jazz got redesigned to appear as one to appeal to a larger segment of the population.

If you compare Jazz1 with Jazz2 you will see that all Jazz did was got bigger. In the first the turtles were huge copared to Jazz but in the second Jazz was as big as them. Thats also why Jazz's gun is smaller in Jazz2 he just got bigger. Anyway I can't decide on my faverouite look. Jazz1 looks cute but Jazz2 looks cool.

JJ2. True jj1 was fun to play and all, but jj2 has jcs, and thats what made me luv it the most. Plus the tilesets are cooler in jj2.

JJ2 gave him that cartoony look that he so well deserved. In JJ1, he looked like the other classic PC games, which isnt bad, but my tastes change, so I voted for JJ2.
A really nice job the animators did...

bleen beans are spoony monkeytoasters.
Batty Buddy's right, the JJ1 Jazz is too cute to hate. In respect to that, I'll say that I don't "hate" that form... it's just not quite my style. I'll say I like the JJ2 version of Jazz best, because he looks more of one who knows what he's doing and actually has a purpose for roasting countless turtles, lizards, rats, etc. as opposed to being a rabbit thrown into warfare and just by chance having a large blue gun handy.
Now, Spaz... THERE's one too cute (or just adorably ridiculous? ![]() ![]()

Maybe Spaz is in JJGBA. He just changed look.
They didn't like Spaz's name, so they changed it to Zoe. They didn't like Spaz's gender, so they changed it to female.
There you go, Zoe is Spaz, so Jazz is there because gay in JJGBA and there because it can't be Jazz. Logical, isen't it? :P |
