Greeaaat. Two super-slow, netscape-unfriendly art gallerys. Dosn't anyone know how to code their own gallery these days?
Oh, and the lord of evil guy looks unnaturally cute =P. The hood on his cloak seems kind of "stiff" though.

Deviant and Side7 seem to load fairly well for me under Mozilla and Phoenix, really...
Well, cool, Piccolo. Art space good. As for me, since I don't draw publication-quality pics that often (besides my comic), my little server is good enough for me. :-)

Mozilla started as an offshoot of Netscape. It's evolved into its own browser, more or less. Netscapes 6 and 7 simply run old versions of Mozilla with a few irritating bits in it. Give Mozilla a shot. You might not even notice the difference if you use Netscape 6 or 7. Or try Phoenix, which is more or less JUST the Mozilla browser (i.e. no mail, news, composer, etc... basically, a much less memory-intensive browser). If you're still using Netscape 4.x... that's your own fault, mate. :-)

I still think people should code their own art gallerys... it seems more unique than using some mass-gallery that serves over 5000 a day =P.

Granted, I've gotta rework the thing so it doesn't look so ugly... :-)

About Opera, though, I've not used it much. People seem to love it, but I'm not too keen about paying for a browser. And I hate ads.

Who is actually going on-topic here? ;_P
I always liked Faw's art, I've his side7 bookmarked and checked in weekly, but I do not like deviantART, it's gallery system is soo confusion, AND only members of deviant is alowed to comment. Keep using ya Side7 Fawriel, or I will eat you. :P |

Ack. I hate Side7. I got no publicity there. The layout of DA is easy

It depends on what time you visit Side7 Wildie, the same is with deviant art, a special time of the day the site is VERY slow because most users are online and upoading art.

I hate Side7. Sorry. It loads slowly, whether I am on 56K or not. And this "you're on at the wrong time of the day" doesn't work because I am stuck to a rigid schedule. Oh well. It doesn't matter because I don't draw much anymore. And I have some time to make my own art gallery on my website, anyhow.
Nice, Fawriel. Try drawing humanoids/other things besides furries. ;-P |

And it all depends on what sort of Notepad you're using. First thing, ALWAYS replace the 50kb limited Notepad that comes with Windows with something better. Like, Notepad+ or something.

Patience is the key to becoming great, young one. :P
If you're curious to know, I visited Side7 around 4AM CST since I'm a night owl. Guess what? It doesn't matter. It's still slow. With uploads and page hits it was just slower. Personally, I don't like furries, one reason i rarelllly comment on them. `Wildie

I was speaking of Piccolo and being sarcastic while I was at it. You must have patience and a willing to learn and please, I beg you, broaden your horizons, people. It's one thing that was discussed a whole day in my art class. People find something they're good at and they stay enclosed in that area of art. It's not exactly a good thing, but it won't kill you. :P
