Pencil Sketching of a Pretty Girl
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/1240976
I personally love the way her hair came out. If anyone is curious-- I used a num. 2 pencil and filled the spaces where the hair would be, filling it in long strokes. Then defining the shadows with a drafting pencil and then drawing in strands with a [few] mechanical pencils- 0.5mm lead. *Shrugs* I like it. I did it for strangledbyart, it's his sister. I dramatized her hair a bit since it wasn't much like that in the original. I changed her lips, they were parted in the ref, blah blah blah. Anyways, comments, crits? `Wildie

Great drawing. I love it. (didn't load at first, I wonder why... at least it loaded later on though)
Crits: Hmm, her left eyebrow (right from this perspective) looks a little misalignedm, it's arching downwards a bit much... I don't know for sure because I'm not an expert on human facial features, etc. Other than that it looks pretty darn good. ;-P |
