For my knowledge

What clans would you all warn new or old players against? (Yes, we all know about DDL, but what others?

AA and RK also claim to be rebel clans. There is no need to warn new players, as it often simply causes them to panic and/or ban anyone who even "might be" a member of these clans. They rarely attack servers, and it's better to refrain from telling them until something actually happens.

Didn't RK die, according to Bolt? RK only had 3 members anyway, Nazgul, Bolt and (lazy) Paladin this time around.

He has been temporarily banned until February 18 because he passed the warning limit. He has committed several offenses.

He already had three warnings for quite a while. I think he did something small that was one step too far. At least, that's what I've heard.

Anyways, there arent much clans which you should warn new people about, i think they are smart enough to know if the clan is behaving well or if the members arent acting appropriate.

from what I've heard CB was banned for telling MoonBlaze to "shut up and never talk to me again". I think he also said he'd give JJ2 to people over ICQ once or twice too.

This was actually the final warning, and in no way was the only reason why the ban was taken place. CraccoBoy has been given enough extra chances and they were broken. The ban is one week and it shall remain that way; no more, no less.

He never changed his mind. The warnings system is concrete senquential. The final warning may have been the personal attack, but the previous three warnings were just as much of the ban as the final warning is.

This is somewhat confusing. I hereby assume that someone is living in a basement, actually. As far as the banning, if someone deserves it, s/he deserves it. There is actually no biased-ness involved in this here banning, in my opinion. Perhaps...perhaps you CC members should calm down, at least a little? ;-P

Let's talk about Microsoft's ideals. Let's talk about them in a very specific and personal way. If you disagree with my claim that many ignoramuses have an intense identification with the most rapacious practitioners of ethnocentrism I've ever seen, then read no further. Developing a policy of inclusion will not be easy, because if I didn't sincerely believe that Microsoft's lapdogs are stampeding happily and mindlessly toward the precipice of brown-nosing, semi-intelligible negativism, then I wouldn't be writing this letter.

It is probably unwise to say this loudly, but some organizations are responsible and others are not. Microsoft falls into the category of "not". You might think this is all pretty funny now, but I doubt I'll hear you laughing if, in the coming days, Microsoft is successfully able to inculcate gruesome refrains. At the risk of repeating myself, I must reiterate that Microsoft's argument that every featherless biped, regardless of intelligence, personal achievement, moral character, sense of responsibility, or sanity, should be given the power to convince innocent children to follow a path that leads only to a life of crime, disappointment, and destruction is hopelessly flawed and utterly circuitous. Microsoft's self-fulfilling prophecies smack of scapegoatism. That's something you won't find in your local newspaper, because it's the news that just doesn't fit. I'd like to finish with a quote from a private e-mail message sent to me by a close friend of mine: "Microsoft equates non-cooperation and solitariness with individuality".

I'm sorry, but I must argue the point of diseappearance and how it relates to Microsoft. If you look at page three, it shows that no matter what direction and arrow points, it is still curved. While this logic seems to be disproved by the theory of Euclid, it makes sense that if you take an XP CD and give it to Bill Gates he will make an illegal copy of it, ignoring the label that was convientely put on the CD by his own company stating "DO NOT MAKE ILLEGAL COPIES OF THIS DISK". This therefore shows you that the world goes round because of the turnip people hiding beneath our feet waiting for a perfect time to dine on our floppy disks. However, I cannot agree with the reasoning behind the fact that the ball will not open by any amount of human force, but instantaneously opens when an inanimate object applies force through movement of the left joint in the eye.

No offense meant by my post (funny how you need to actually put that in posts over here, no?), but I don't really think that any of those above posts were meant to attack CC in any way. I'm actually quite suprised that the above mentioned clans did not shout "PERSONAL ATTACK!" when they were called n00bs, people should learn from examples like that and this will be a better place for all.

This thread was started in order to inform people of clans with a not-so-good reputation so that they could learn to avoid them, and nowhere do I see CC, DK, DM, FoR, GpW, TF, or TRC mentioned to be in this list. DDL, AA, and RK (which is mentioned dead and no longer a threat) are the only clans in this list mentioned so far, as it has been pretty clear by their actions and statements that they are not the best clan to be in.

However, this while thread has gone off-topic since the 4th post, which can be annoying for people who want to come here to be informed, and a side effect of this is quite a heated debate. So, jokes aside people, keep on topic now...pretty please

Edit: Clearly I've been spending too much time in PSP while typing this, I started right after craccoboy's post, but the message still applies, be good

I know that CC wasn't in the first post. But, I'm offended by sarcastic posts like Ninja's where he makes it look like CC is one of the noob clans or looks like TRC or DK. You see the point.
