Jazz 1 Lighting Problem.

While this isn't exactly a problem, it gets in the way of making conversions, so I'd like to turn it off somehow.
The second levels of JJ1 planets have a slightly darker palette, causing it to be annoyingly difficult to make conversions. I have spoken with CelL, and he says this does not happen to him. Is there any way to remove this slight graphic enhancement?

Have you tried low or medium detail or no colour animation?

Yes. Oh, and having no color animation removes the animations, so that would be rather counterproductive.

Have you tried reinstalling the graphics card drivers and Jazz 1?

I can't find any uninstall for JJ1, and as for graphics cards drivers.. they're part of the computer, right?

Sort of...Make sure you have the drivers disc for your graphics card or access to the graphics card maker's web site before doing this!

For Windows XP:

1. Right-click on My Computer
2. Go to "display drivers."
3. Right click on each display driver and click uninstall.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Windows should detect the "new" hardware and reinstall the drivers.
