I was going to mention this, but decided it is not worth note. Since Shadow seems to be the only one making this sort of announcement (instead of the replyable message versions, which would be better in my humble and probably unpopular opinion). I suppose that disabling them would be a good idea.

It would be nice if we could reply to announcements like that, indeed. It's not like how to get your post count is any mystery anyway.
