Ooo, nice. I agree with the general sentiment in the comments, you got the lips down quite nice.
Hey, a random question... do you just come up with and draw these people from the top of your mind, or have you ever drawn portraits of people from photos or them posing for you?

I always use a reference of these people. I'm working on one right now though (it might take me several weeks since it's a scene, not a portrait) that I have absolutely no reference for. Ugh..

The background and part of her dress kind of merge but it still looks good. How do you achieve this level of realism with your drawings?
