Were are the ports you need to turn on for the timing out problem?Were do you look for them and how do you turn them on??

CottonTail: Do you have a cable connection to the Internet? Do you have more than one computer at your home, and if so do they use something called a "router" to connect them all to the cable modem? If so, what brand is the router?

I have cable and I have two computers connected to each other so i suppose I have a router.One works without timing out,one doesnt. Ill have to find out what brand it is though.
