Nothing to do with JJ2... but something to do with Epic Games.
Remember all those topics about how to forward the required ports on one's router so that one would be able to play JJ2 online?
Thanks about that. What I'm asking for this time is the ports required to play UT online. Not UT2K3, as I haven't gotten that far; just the original UT. Should this be in this forum? After all, it is Technical Help-related, but not JJ2-related. I've asked something of this sort before, but never got a reply. If it means anything, here are my stats: P3 1.4GHz Windows 98 Linksys router (ports 10052-10057 and 6667-6669 forwarded) Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think you need to forward port 7777.
Note: This is given that you have not tampered with any port settings for the game. Port 7777 is most likely it if you have not tampered with the default port setting, and you can configure that in unrealtournament.ini in the system folder where your game is installed. |

It figures. If it isn't one problem, it's another.
I forwarded the prots, but apparently I need to get a patch to upgrade from my v400 to v436. Of course, this requires a file needed on the CD. I lost the CD quite a while ago, and I am thusly unable to patch. Could anyone send me the patched UT436 files? The doingment would be greeted with great gratefulness. Off to download the UT2K3 demo... tralalalalala...
