Which is your favorite game type?
Well? What will it be? Post here so we can see.
If you haven't heard of a game type then just ignore it and vote among the ones you know well. My favorite is Instagib. Well Survivor also rules.

Survivor is actually Ground Force. Survivor is the name of BlurredD's pack, Ground Force is the name of the actual gametype.

Such a high number of gametypes are not listed here an "other" option would be nice.

As for my favorite gametype, I would say Capture the Flag. It has more variety in strategies than battle, in my opinion. |

CTF is strategic and enjoyable but Ground Force a.k.a Survivor is just plain fun and entertaining.

CTF, Duel ( 1on 1 ) and test bwah hard decision =P.
Test it is i guess. |
May 28, 2003, 02:24 PM | |
Tests (mazes, puzzles, wallclimbing, Wind Meister, etc.) Definantely second would be battle, third would be survivor, fourth would be instagib.

If you ask me, It would have to be the Tests. I mean, what else is there to do? Blast people with weird weapons? Been there, done that. CTF? Ugh, this is worse than Counterstrike, and you know how I feel about that game. Treasure? What's that?
Now, assault is not very great on this game, but a good idea. Survivor is another good game, but not many people care for it. I like the tests, where you can actually DO something and actually feel good about it. "Woo hoo! I won a battle!" "Yeah sure whatever." {=- Battle game "I just beat this level!" (Insert 10 WTG's) {=- Tests Favorite has to be the Wind Meister levels. Challenging and origional at the same time. Even without wind it's tough.

Bah. I've never been very fond of tests, because I rarely have the patience for it.
When there are enough people, I like playing Assault. Yeppers... *doo de dum*

i must say i am flattered that both Foo Races and Wind Meister are listed as examples on this poll ;p
and i'm glad if you like my levels, Xion, but Windy Tests were the original test levels with wind. they're made by Violet, and are much better in my opinion. all i've done is taken Violet's idea and added somewhat of a plot to it. |
Jun 1, 2003, 12:05 PM | |
I'm not talking about the series, I'm talking about the premise: Get through with wind. It's challengeing.
Under tests, would this one level called "In space nobody can hear you scream" be considered a test? It's just a bunch of pipes in space that you just run around in and when you get to the end it crashes your game. Weird.

Ah, I misunderstood what the tite of this thread meant, I was going to say I like 3D platformers, but that isn't what this thread is about. Should have figured, it being in the jazz related topics and all.
