I'm curious if anyone has anything they would like to add on how the JDC scoring system works, basically what could be done to make it even better?

A good idea would to have each event come with a purse of points scaled to the amount of users who had participated in the event. Each user would get his/her share out of the total amount of points in the purse. By the way, a purse is a term. Think of it as a "pot" up for grabs.

Well, they basically operate on a loose system like that were Syntax and I figure out what we think should be the max allowed and for everyone under that we give out what is correct...
For example, if we had an AYCR, we could give out say 50 points to the winner, 45 to the next and so on. |
