At first I was wondering if this would be considered "art". Then I relized it was just like any kind of photography. Only jpged.

Hehe, it's in the Art Forum so I can make you *think* it is edited.

(No, seriously, it is not doctored. This is an actual photo... well, not really a photograph, but it is a picture of... well you know what I mean. Although I did edit it to reduce unneccessary image size (I took out the blank space that was the rest of my Opera transfers page. And the illegal link. :P)

The question is--do you consider it art if it doesn't have artistic value, but is merely a display of a mechanical skill? If you don't, realism has little or no value as an art form.

I think artistic value can be judged and I think there can be some in realism--but I think it's safe to say there's none whatsoever in this picture, based on both its content and presentation. No offense, KRSplat.
