TSF Christmas Levels Problem
When I try to play Holiday Hare 98 in J2:TSF, the game crashes with an error. "Could not find the level file or tileset for XMAS1.j2l."

I guess you don't have the HH98 tilesets in your TSF folder.

I don't even HAVE Xmas1.j2l in my Jazz2 Folder...

Check your HH98 folder.

Seems you have Jazz2 TSF LK Avalon release, well, that release has a lots of bugs.

When you try to go into the HH98 episode the game exists, it's a bug of it, you can't do anything about it, there is a patch in the CD that should fix it.. but it doesn't, it just makes the episode to start "A White Christmas" level.

That's what I did and it worked
They should have written that the patch was there, it took me months to realize.

I have the same problem
I have the same probmel, but is XMAS1.j2l actually the level "A White Christmas"?
That rather looks like a level for multiplayers.
Or am I wrong?

I have also the Jazz2 TSF LK Avalon release.

Xmas1.j2l is Snow Bunnies (first level from HH98, wasn't included in the LK Avalon edition).

So, basically, if I ever want to play that level, I have to find someone who will email me the right .j2l file or would I have to buy the whole different edition of it?

Not legally, but you might be able to find a CC'99 or HH'98 download somewhere.
