Heya! So many new topics everywhere! After some time not being here I decided to take a visit during the winter holidays. I will probably not be staying here permanently but I'll try to stick around.
Yayayay! I just recently got an ADSL and I must say it's a HUGE improvement over my 56K (doh, lol). Sorry but I won't be able to host any servers because, you see, I'm not directly connected to internet. I have a new private network where only one PC is connected to the internet and that PC is a linux box (router/gateway) so I'll have to do a bit of firewalling first ![]() I have also updated my instagib level pack called Enhancement to v1.1 so those who already rated it may want to update their reviews. Why did I decide to update anyway? Well... Some people have complained about the layout of some levels that was too crowded. I just recently realized that the layout of some levels really was too tight (yes, when I missed jj2 I usually went through the collection of levels I have multiple times). This is one of the reasons I decided to modify and update. Taz's review is as well one of the reasons. Thanks, Taz. So what was updated? While some levels remain unchanged, few were rebuilt, some were modified and most were heavily clipped to ensure lots of free space to play in. Another thing was the eyecandy. I added as much eyecandy to my levels as I liked but the important thing was to keep the eyecandy out of the playfield. This is one of the things I learnt from UT2003 and can clearly be seen in most of my levels. Take a look at "Graviton Pulse" (IGS_047.j2l) for example. Here's the link to the download page on J2O: http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads...p?levelid=2674 By the way J2M is finally in the works ![]() That would be more or less everything from me. So what's new over here? Nice winter JCF theme.

Awesome, Overlord returns. But now, sadly, I have reason to get on ICQ >(
Anyway, WB. |
