An Extremely Noobish Question

Okay, I'm trying to connect to a JJ2 server from the games in progress page on J2O. I run the. J2I file with JJ2, but JJ2 just opens like normal as if I ran nothing with it at all. I try to connect to a game from JJ2 after running the J2I file, but it doesn't work. Am I just missing something incredibly obvious or do I have an actual problem?

It's not a n00bish question. It does the same for me. I think it may be a Windows XP thing. Do you have WinXP?

Shouldn't this be in technical help?

One possible solution:
Open up My Computer
From the Tools menu, select Folder Options
Click on the File Types tab and scroll down to whatever .J2I is called
Click on it, then click Advanced
under Actions, double-click on Open
Make sure %1 (under "Application used to perform this action") has no quotation marks around it

Can't remember if I did this for J2I files or not, but it worked for something Jazz-related.
