Is it possible to to get this in Battle, Treasure or CTF games as well ![]() ![]() Well i gues this is a kind of technical help problem ![]() |

Yes, a dedicated server (or for that matter PC4 or forest) can *probably* un-buttstomp or un-destruct scenery. This means that I haven't verified it yet, but there are clues to say it is possible.

I believe this feature is possible to code, however, there is no telling whether it will work. My idea is to restore all dest blocks server side by memory editing and then call the function to update clients with it.

It would be useful as a constant obstacle in race mode, for one. You can find a lot of creative uses for it if you try hard enough, I guess.

How about battle-groundforce? If you fall out you'll lose, if you die you'll be placed back in the game, if you kill you'll get a point. It should, of course, be hosted in Battle mode.
You could also make team-battle-groundforce by adding teambattle scoring system to it and team-battle-ctf-groundforce if you place CTF bases in the level and run 1.23+ or some program that serves TBCTF. In both cases you should, of course, host in CTF mode.

I want to use in battles for obstacles/eyecandy
![]() I like it when i am in the air to stomp my way beneath and escape or follow the player u want to roast (u) ![]() ![]() Or if u want to get an uprate, that u might get hindered a little by destruction scans. This are some examples, but there are tons of other options that u can make ![]() Regainerating is coowl than! |

Tried...Impossible By My Experience
I've tried this already. What i did was a forced lag. Then i let the other player with me destroy the block. He destroyed it but it didn't destroy on my screen. Hopefully we're clear so far. I lagged, he destroyed, undestroyed on my screen. Well from there I used forest to Client/Server Synchronize. Didn't work. Block was still there for me and didn't come back for him.
But... Just to be idiots i let him lag himself. I destroyed the block. The block was not destroyed on his screen. And so I used Forest to client/server synchronize and sure enough the block disappeared on his screen. Judging from this I'll say a block regen is probably possible. It probably involves a 1 byte value switching from 0 to 1 to destroy the block, then back to 0 to recover the block. I'm not honestly sure as I have never been interested in something like this and therefore would have no use to recover blocks although if a program comes out that's able to do that i would gladly download it and find a good use for it. Who knows? Maybe a trigger zone destruct scenery block (0,1) and trigger crate destruct scenery block type thing will come out after we unlock the secrets of recovering destroyed blocks! It could happen! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That sounds weird, if the destruct block is destroyed on the client's screen and you synchronize using forest, nothing happens but if the destruct block is destroyed on your screen but not on the client's screen and you use synchronize, then it DOES disappear for the client? :/ That's WEIRD
![]() ![]() nice finding
