Ive commited a change to openjazz that enables scale2x scaling.
I would be very interested to get feedback from the community on this feature.
Im open to improving it any way, and i already have some ideas to make it better. And also report any bugs related to it.
Anyone wanting to try it at the moment will have to build a version from source.
The feature is enabled by using the SCALE define.

The menu resolution control changes the scaling factor: 2,3,4
I does check to see that the scaled resolution is supported by the display.

Some ideas i have are to add an additional option select different types of filters, i.e simple scaling, sai, etc

Scaling now in the latest build - available at the usual place.
