This poll change is long overdue, but then aren’t they all? Let’s talk about multiplayer levels! Some people like to upload single levels at a time, like “One Silver Penny” or “Employee of the Month.” Sometimes there’ll be two or three at a time. Other times you get a large pack, either drawing exclusively from one single gamemode or comprising a whole bunch of levels, some battle, some CTF, some maybe Jailbreak, whatever. The packs made a lot of sense before JJ2+‘s level list support, since they made it easier to host a server that kept people interested instead of restarting the same level over and over, especially if passwords were involved. But that’s not an issue anymore, since you can cycle from any level to any other level anytime you want, so are packs less important than they used to be? Or do you just like the convenience of getting a whole lot of levels to try out at once, as long as you’ve already bitten the bullet and decided to download a .zip anyhow? And how do you feel about multiple gamemodes in a single set? Talk about that here and answer the poll.

Note that this is specifically asking about what you like to download and hopefully then review ahaha who am I kidding nobody reviews anymore, not what you like to upload. If you love 20-level CTF packs but only ever upload single battle levels, vote for the pack option.

one preview image at a time!

It depends on the gamemode. When it is Single Player, i prefer downloading packs. But when it comes to other gamemodes, I download them as single levels.

Came close to choose large pack, but voted for ’2 or 3 levels’ in the end.

For single player, size doesn’t matter to me as long as there’s enough gameplay value. But for multiplayer, I’d prefer releases in packs yet they shouldn’t overwhelm in amount (which isn’t a bad thing either)..

Hmm, arrg, let’s just say: Don’t think too much and release your levels! :P

Maybe more people would review if u fix the reviewing system and the top 40 reviewers page.

maybe more people would fix the reviewing system if u reported what’s wrong with the reviewing system

New reviews don’t count anymore since like 2010.

Stijn on 5 Sep 2013 at 22:06

Count for what? When I browse downloads I still see new levels have a score.

I’m all for constructive criticism but complaining about a feature not working and then not telling how it doesn’t work is not the best way to get it fixed, you know.

Stijn on 5 Sep 2013 at 23:03

Alright, cooba helpfully let me know that the review count didn’t get updated properly. Which has been fixed now. See, it’s that easy! Being grumpy about something not working for 3 years won’t get it fixed, telling me about it will.

master sven on 9 Sep 2013 at 08:49

Since Cooba was aware of it, I thought it was known to everyone. I heard arguments that it wasn’t worth the effort to fix it. I assumed u knew what I meant when I talked about ‘count’, since I was talking about the reviewing system in my previous post. Anyway thnx for fixing ;)

Btw: the top reviewers page still doesn’t work :P

cooba on 9 Sep 2013 at 17:42

cooba was not aware of it

Stijn on 9 Sep 2013 at 18:21

Top reviewers is a little less easy to fix, so that’s on hold for now
