Some positive features and a nice variety of challenges, but not much thought went into level design, often relying on fairly random block placement. Some areas cause bugs and others can be beaten in unintended ways. Overall pretty average for a test.
Weird and good? This is more weird :)
pretty good and playable :)

I really like this idea.
I had seen many maps with the same concept in TrackMania and I also liked it very much!
Thank you HàTéBrèéD :)
Intresting..
The new Version has a lower rating than the old version without eyecandy and the boss.
LOL
Thanks for Reviews!
A clever little novelty, if nothing else. It’s really only good for a single run-through considering you never actually have to DO anything to beat the map, just sit back and watch (it doesn’t always work all the way through tho’). The sheer amount of ways this is accomplished makes it a pretty interesting experience to sit down and look at tho’, and maybe open up in JCS to see how some of it is done. Kind of reminds me of this old text-based RPG I used to have that’d simply play itself – all you had to do was turn it on.
This thing is pretty overrated in my opinion. A 7.0 seems appropriate. Worth a look, if only for the sheer uniqueness of it and all the clever little ways the level operates.
Yes! I DO review things other than music once in a while! Amazing, I know…
==================Simple Review==================
Base Score: 5/10
Point Bonuses: +5
[+3] Extremely creative use of the basic Jazz Jackrabbit 2 engine and most of its gizmos!
[+2] Good eye for detail! Interesting how there are subtle differences between Spaz and Jazz or Lori which make this level work only for him… I would not have noticed otherwise.
Point Deductions: -3
[-1] Undocumented: Only seems to work on Medium difficulty…
[-1] Even then, it doesn’t always work. Snag areas include the float lizards (on Hard at least) and the conveyor/TNT crate area.
[-1] There are some serious “dry spell” areas… For example, the “fight” with Queen Earlong took too long (and didn’t always work perfectly) and there was at least two long stretches of NOTHING which were in dire need of SOMETHING, I saw…
[0] That palette is ugly. Seriously. It looks like you removed one of the RGB values or something…
[0] You misspelled “Running” as “Runnig”. ;P
Final Score: 7/10
=================Extended Review=================
Introduction:
Run, rabbit, run! Run until you can’t run no more! And then keep running anyway! Mwa ha ha ha ha!!! [ahem] This is the first level of its kind (to my knowledge) in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 — that is to say, a level that plays ITSELF. Super Mario World? Rockman Rockman? Eat your heart out.
Level Analysis:
At first glance, it looks like your average level. A very complex one, at that! Springs, crates, enemies, gems, food, and all sorts of other things EVERYWHERE! Kind of an “elegant mess” of sorts. Best of all, it was created using only a basic “Castle” tileset whose palette was altered (and I think one or two tiles were added?).
Features Analysis:
Okay, first, you fall down this shaft, right? Then, you get tossed around a lot! Then, you eat a lot of food, beat up some enemies, collect BUTTLOADS of treasure, beat up MORE enemies, bully Queen Earlong around, run around like a maniac, bounce, bounce, bounce, swing, fly, bounce, run more, and finally show Devan Shell and his Superbot who’s boss! All this, and you never, ever have to touch a single button.
You tell me that doesn’t sound awesome.
Final Analysis:
You wouldn’t happen to have some sort of Japanese gamer heritage in you, would you? I say this because a few Japanese gamers — particularly those that hang around Nico Nico Douga — seem to have an obsession and are darn good at making “automatic stages” in various games… Anyway, despite the glitches mentioned above, this is most definately worth the minimal time it takes to download and DEFINATELY worth five minutes of your time to watch in action! It’s just that awesome. When it works. ;3

Really cool, a bit too gimmicky and kinda wack but still cool.
Well time to start my journey of changing most of my quick review to normal!
I’m not going to do this like a regular level because this is something different. The eyecandey is nothing special but the eyecandey is not the main focus. It’s what the level has to offer. Basically, this is a level where you watch you character do a bunch really crazy and wild moves. Using combination of springs, suckers and warps the author made it look like Jazz was doing this by himself. i was amazed at how flawless it was. There are some downfalls however. Even though it’s cool to see enemies getting defeated without you doing anything, there are some areas where you are just sitting there waiting for something to happen. I can be boring. The final boss with the robot was incredible. I was amazed how it could be defeated by using springs and warps. I was even more shocked when I won without pressing a button.
The creativity is amazing here and I highly recommend a download. I give this a 8 because of not much eyecandey and the fact it can be boring at spots.
yea it’s fun.. and like to see ones. but not really something that has some real effort (for a 9.9) except the idea’s some things could work out even better. it becomes rather useless after you played it once. it’s more like a film then gaming itself. but still, the idea’s are awesome.
Pretty good. Pretty damn good!
A part of this I saw before I gues but the most of it was new and looking very coowl!! Almost everything did work flawless except the lizards.
Almost compleetly agree with Plunk about the Wow! part :D
Wow….. Thats just about all i can say
Although this is not an actual map or anything, it is probably the most impressive thing i have ever seen done in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 using JCS
basically it starts, and your character navigates and does amazing manouvers, and solves some very challenging looking puzzles and tasks, and eventually after several things he defeats the queen, and even does a cleverly thought out boss battle against the robot boss.
GET THIS :
At one portion of this there is a cluster of flying lizards, he even has it timed so the stand still shooting up thing happens when they get above you and explode.
I 100% reccommend this and it deserves an extremely high rating due to its cleverness, and just pure amazement while watching.
awesome:D
but the eyecandy wasnt good
if you fix that i give it a 10
o and thanx for the music;)
i give it a 9.7 now
ty all! Eyecandy is not that was important for me here. Thanks to Zombi he helped me!
VERY COOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!
but it have a error :’(
I hope that you correct it :)
Hahahah, wow. This is amazing ;P. You don’t even have to lift a finger to see some really cool effects this level can provide. A few of the ideas used are pretty basic spring things, but there’s a lot of really creative and original things done like the pillow ghost area and the float lizards. Too bad the level doesn’t look pretty, but the chain effects done here to keep your rabbit moving more then make up for it. I’m guessing it took a LOT of trial and error and testing to get this working right, but it was worth it since this is a unique and fun level :).
The originality, fun factor, and gameplay tricks more then make up for where this level lacks. Well done indeed.

Theming and Eyecandy – 2 out of 5
Well uh yeah. The eyecandy itself is a major drawback. The eyecandy is way below average. It doesn’t use the great potential which Castle2 gives. There are tilebugs in the walls, barely any details, and the background is extremely bland. No background layers used, no scrolling, textured background fading to 0. This level is kind of unpleasant eyecandy-wise…
Gameplay – N/A
..but the gameplay makes up for it. There can’t be much said on this field, since it’s just basically Jazz/Spaz/whoever automatically moving across the level. The way it’s done is brilliant and it’s extremely fun to watch (aside from some really boring elements… like the path full of poles at the end) fits more to the event placement description, so…
Eventing – 5 out of 5
Some of the eventing here was just brilliant. There were a lot of tricks (and I mean a LOT) which made the level tick. I was literally stunned when I saw some of the awesome effects. To name a few, there was a short path of ceiling springs bouncing me to the right by continually stomping the Pacman Ghosts which were on the way. There was a part exploting the Queen’s unique behavior, which I enjoyed a lot. There’s also an ingenious part featuring sugar rush and lots of float lizards, which bounce you up upon touch. The eventing is perfect.
SummaryOverall
This, I think, was one of the most original levels I’ve ever seen. It’s like a large hotel rollercoaster, except it uses amazing effects which make the level really tick. This technically would get a 6.5-7.0’ish rating, but that would be some severe underrating since a ton of effort went into this level. 8.2 is my rating for this. You inspired me =D.
