Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

There is no tileset so, I can not rate it.

If you upload this in you Jazz Jackrabbit 2 map, you can’t do the other original boos music. So the conclusion is why?

Apparently this hasn’t been deleted. I’ll assume this has been released by now, so here’s my review.

This level features mediocre eyecandy and gameplay to match. I got stuck several times, and it generally was not fun at all. The tileset, however, is very cool-ish, and this is definitely worth the download if just for the tileset. I hope this is released by now, but just in case, I won’t rate this.

I think its a good idea using a different boss. It some excitement to the game.

But unfortunately, these levels SUCK really. There is absolutely NO eyecandy in here, the enemie placement is VERY bad, it cant get much worse, wait it can. The backround, ughhh, horrible. The worst thing is probably the eyecandy, and this level was really boring as well. Sorry, no sympathy from me. +.2 that at least u know how to use the sicker tubes. Thank god for that.

This level seems rushed. I’m sure you could make a great level if you worked on it for a longer period of time and didn’t hurry to finish it. Always test every aspect of your level before submitting it, too.

anyway i found a bug in the ctf level that you couldn’t get to the other teams flag. i’ll reupload the fix

But none of these levels are good.

-gameplay: really sux
-eyecandy: what eyecandy?
-weapon placement: all wrong

A 4.7 is REALLY the highest I can give this.

Here’s a word of advice: you should spend more time on lvls. If you made something in only two weeks, you can be sure it’s not good enough. [This review has been edited by Waz]

I still haven’t officially released my Odyssey tileset, so why is it being used? This is the second time I’m finding my tileset being used (assuming that there aren’t any other levels using it) so I can’t emphasize this enough: DON’T RELEASE LEVELS USING MY TILESET. The tileset isn’t finished yet and I rearranged the tiles in it.

I still don’t care if you make levels with my tileset, just don’t release them.

Couldn’t get it to run. Looked at the programming and fixed it. It’s hardly Tetris.

Trying not to be biased by my recent single player level using the Castle tileset (unreleased), I’ll review this.
This is, sadly enough, not a good level. There’s not really much design, and the Doors aren’t used well, and stuff like that. But there are certainly some nice parts, like the big vine pit. Though I think it could have been done better.
In general, you just go straight, and shoot villains. No puzzles, as they’re called. And at the end there’s a series of warps, most of which (as far as I can tell) are end of levels, a few of which are bosses. I personally prefer the ones that are more common.

1st thing: It is dungeon, not dungon :)
2st thing: Bad eyecandy.
3st thing: Hurts everywhere! YOU MUST DIE AS YOU FALL.
4st thing: A fencer in a castle level? Bad Enemyplacement.
5st thing: As you do the wrong way, you must do the level over! I use jjnowall….
6st thing: As the queen falls, the level isnt ready. You sit in a impossible situation.
7st thing: etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
Conclusion: BAD. DOWNLOAD THIS NOT!

I haven’t seen this, and from your ratings I don’t think I want to, but I would like to point one thing out.
Why are you saying that the Jazz Boss is in the level is a downside? It is a working boss, after all, so you’re just being unfair. Would you do the same if it had some other boss? No, probably not. So that’s just pointless.
