i was jk about the whole hacking into pyramid's computer...u do have to relize the second i hit restart my computer's done for so i figured i get this out before it all disappears

Half an OS = Warez, and if you legaly aquired windows, just use the CD.

ok i'm working on it but i don't know where the windows\system files are located on the CD (im just browsing it) and im afraid to restart my computer and use Microsofts recovery system because the second i restart, if their recovery system fails...i'm screwed

You can try booting from the CD.

that's the thing...i don't think that Microsoft's prepared for something like this. If i restart and boot from CD and find out it's irrecoverable...i can't get back into windows. This is so gay. Why the hell would somebody make a program that destroys your OS?

Um asd 2 3 and X have been out for some time so i think it could be called asd 4 well anyway this isn't about names.

I find that a bit harsh gry and BN i mean 1 crashed server and punishment a semi non working computer , its just not right but ive been on the same server as you sometimes drmoo and it appears you brag a bit about hacking and stuff whitch may find you enemys , So i hope you will stop crashing servers if you are.

The problem is the fact that I have no idea how packet editing works and when a server (-)es me off (example: banning for stupid stuff) then yes I wanna get back at them. Maybe ASD isn't the answer but oh well. And you can believe what you want but Pyrramid is a programmer and this is the type of thing a highschooler could put together.

by the way he hasn't stopped me from nothing. He's just sealed his fate internet wise.

It's not really hacking though if you think about it. Memory editing is all i've really done that could even PASS for hacking. The rest is all just use of programs. i have other evidence too that it was pyramid several ppl told me it was i just don't have it documented. And yes he is a nice guy i used to chat with him all the time on MSN but hell i'm (-) about this BS right now

He's no longer in RR , ASD has never been the answer ever since it was made.

Just to remind you, Using ASD is totally unacceptable, and you are risking your ability to play Jazz Jackrabbit 2 online via the List Servers.

Destroying someone's Windows installation is far worse than crashing someone's JJ2 server. This program, if the reports are true, is considered a trojan horse and should be submitted to virus authorities immediately.

I'm not a fan of crashing servers, but this kind of revenge is unacceptable.

The real asd 2 i think had more hacks on it well i don't really know duel to i never use it but i live with someone who had has and this time its not ryder O_o.

any way this is just a fake asd to trick people but it would be nice if it could perhaps delete itself and not destroy your files :/

A good tester would just have shaped all mischevious packets needed for testing manually, as ASD only abuses one of the protocol's weaknesses.

It seems to target the following folders:
c:\*.*
c:\Windows\Prefetch\*.*
c:\Windows\System\*.*
c:\Windows\System32\*.*
c:\Windows\System32\Setup\*.*
c:\Windows\*.*

Its definitely a bad program and it seems to be made in Delphi. Note that the paths are hardcoded in so if your windows is installed on C:\WinNT then they should be safe, but that's not a theory I want to test. Do not run this on your PC.

This is a real eye opener. People are going too far in crashing servers, and now they're crashing computers for revenge. I do think the ASD 1 users got what they deserved but it still isn't right.

Well the program itself is poorly made. It could at least have a timer on it letting the user use its functions and thus allowing the program to spread a bit before activating its payload to achieve maximal damage. I'll just shut up so that I don't give these crashers any more bright ideas.

But noone forced you to use it. You used it on your own risk. That noobish ASD I made in Delphi (which contains the simplest DeleteFile procedure) is neither uploaded somewhere nor distributed by me. I made it in order to revenge a person that I was harldy trying to see banned out of JJ2 cos of her crashing-all-day fun. I regret to see my friends (-)ed by ASD2. However, you were aware of what you are doing by pressing that List All Hosted Button (your intention was to crash a server), so it's all your fault.

I repeat. I NEITHER UPLOAD IT SOMEWHERE NOR DISTRIBUTED IT.

Anyway, I quit playing JJ2 and I wish a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to all people all around the world.

I sent lots of reports, everyone knew that she was all day crashing, but since noone cared about the players, I decided to act on my own. Anyway, Nina was en easy target because she was mad about hack tools which prooves she used them more than frequently. I succeeded in doing what I wanted, but it seems she didn't want to be the unique one who got owned. You can call it trojan, spyware, call it a bomb if you want. I don't care. Antivirus cannot recognize it. It contains a DeleteFile function whose target I can edit every time.

P.S. i am not Nina, I will never be. I wonder why n00b thinks I am Nina.
