<i>I was thinking more along the lines of some uberteleport spell, that is able to get around the peep army interdictors by virtue of pure, terrifying, power.
Gravity stuff... great, now I need another element.
And why gravity? Electromagnitism is a lot more powerful.</i>
Lem_Gambino
May 23, 2004, 02:34 PM
1- Sin is extremely powerful. Your Peeps wouldn't stand a chance unless they played FFX.
2- Personally, I think Demi looks more like a Darkness or Warp spell.
Risp_old
May 23, 2004, 02:38 PM
<i>1. Going by virtue of what I have seen from the game, I would have no trouble. I mean, a big enough antimatter bomb could blow up a planet. And the peep army has the reasources to make such a bomb. Or, at least, had those reasources before the main base was destroyed.
2. I would think it would be warp.</i>
Lem_Gambino
May 23, 2004, 02:55 PM
1- It all depends on whether Sin can disarm the bomb with its psychic powers, or if it has enough common sense to stay away from the Peeps. Either way, Sin can come back, but since I haven't gotten that far in the game yet (don't you dare spoil it!), wouldn't know how the heck that would work.
EDIT: 2- Or chaos. (Warp/Chaos?)
Risp_old
May 23, 2004, 03:05 PM
<i>1. How do you disarm a bomb which relys on it's internal systems to keep itself from naturally blowing up?
2. Nah. Chaos doesn't really fit here, since demi has very predictable results.</i>

<i>Demi is a dark-based spell, not a gravity based spell.</i>
Risp_old
May 23, 2004, 04:26 PM
<i>Last time I checked it was gravity-based.</i>
Xion
May 24, 2004, 09:51 AM
<i>Well, it's been changed to Dark-based in FFTA. Thus, it's Dark based.</i>
Risp_old
May 24, 2004, 01:08 PM
<i>Since when is this FFTA2?</i>
Xion
May 25, 2004, 09:25 AM
<i>I dunno. Since that's the latest and greatest non-online FF game, I assume that there will be many things there.
Besides, we can borrow spells from other games, too. I sooooooo want to use Grants in this game...w00t</i>
Strato
May 25, 2004, 10:36 AM
<i>Demi has always been gravity based, thusly it's gravity. Just because FFTA deems it dark dosn't mean that it should be changed. And besides, the game is already FFT: The Online Message Board Ripoff, so why do we need to make it even more like it?
Xion

I personally think FFT was better than FFTA. More challenging, at least. And the classes were more unique compared to each other.</i>

<i>Oh my, another story piece!</i>
Malta enters Xion's room, only to find him and Tia asleep together in the chair. Malta shakes her head and looks at the floor. "Silly little sister." she says, then goes to get Xion awake. She notices the green area on the star system, but what catches her eye is the scroll with the ribbon. "Oh my. This looks...new." Malta grabs the scroll, carefully, and reads the note. "Aww. A spell from a planeswalker." She opens it, and mumbles the first few lines of text.
Xion mumbles something in his sleep. Malta doesn't see this, but Xion sees Malta. "Malta?" Malta breaks her concentration, and looks at Xion.
"Where..." Malta begins, almost studdering, "Where did you get this."
Xion shrugs. "I'm just as confused on who, why, when, and what."
"Well, I can answer 'What' for you." Malta says, with a smile, and rolling it up. She ties the ribbon around it. "Look up the ancient Vieran texts...those might help you a bit." Malta says with a smile. "Oh yes. Also, I think that with Tangent and his Magic Amplifier magic, Even the Pylon incident...I sent a message to the Principal Government-"
"Stop right there. You...what?" Xion says, snapping his head twoards Malta.
"I sent a message to the Pricipal Government about the Anarchist." she says. "And guess what. They said that since it became non-operational over the last twelve years, you can have it back."
"Well." Xion says, getting up. Tia, still asleep in Xion's chair, slips down into the chair. Xion presses a few keys on a wall, and the wall opens to display a magnificent Black and Red suit of armor. "I thought that I had retired this suit for good..." Xion says, staring at the armor. "But I may need it, now that you've mentioned the Anarchist."
Xion removes the Helm from its holder, and puts it on. "It stil fits..." Xion says, somewhat muffled through the helmet. "Let's see if the power still works." He then clips on the body armor, and the eyes begin to glow white. "Targeting systems are ok, life support good, Gravity systems are still operational, Visuals are still good..."
"This doesn't look like the Xion I know..." Malta says, somewhat disturbed.
"Audio sensors still work..." Xion says, then removes the armor. "I know it's not who you know...but that's how I was able to get this place. I cleaned it up, and made it my home. Principal Government didn't want me...Too much of a rebel with my 'Fancy-Pants magick' and ideas. So they waited for a reason to get me...and they did. I was caught selling illegal replicated items on the market, so they removed my licence." Xion points to a black circle on the left side of the body armor. "Used to proudly wear my licence there, untill they removed it."
"Well, I guess that's what happens when you do something illegal." Malta says, apatetically.
"That's what happens when the government doesn't like you." Xion states. "Anyways, I'll just shift up there so I can get to the ship...right?" Malta shakes her head. "Right??"
"No...Diesel went up there and passed himself off as you. They knew who you were under your armor, and couldn't tell the difference between you and him. Diesel's up there now fixing it up." Malta says, then digs in her pocket. "By the way..." She pulls out a chip, about an inch in diameter, and purple on one side.
"Is that..." Malta nods. "I've missed it...did it keep my items?" Malta shrugs.
"I had no way to see..." Malta says, handing it to Xion. Xion carefully implants it into the black circle, making a perfect fit. Xion puts on two gloves from the armor, and the body armor.
"Let's see..." Xion mumbles. Xion produces a multitude of things...A yellow blade on a long stick, a two-sided tan-colored blade, a large rifle with a blue jewel in the top, a red Scythe, then finally a pair of Blue-Green guns. "They didn't remove a thing..." Xion says, smiling. Xion notices Tia starting to move, and Xion puts the armor away.
Tia gets up, and looks at Xion just as the door shut. "Well, somebody's up." Tia says. "What were you and Malta doing?"
"Talking..." Xion says, with a smile. "She was able to get the Anarchist out of lockdown...now we can go to Peep Territory. Diesel's up there working on it now to get it functioning."
"Wonderful...what time is it?" Tia says with a yawn.
"It's almost noon..." Xion says, looking at the computer's clock. Tia looks at him with a smile. "Time for lunch..." Xion helps Tia up out of the chair, and the three walk to the lounge for lunch.

Risp walks up to a building built in the shadow of the nearby moutain. He walks to the door, and it opens for him. A blast of fire and ice shoots through and turns a nearby tree into rapidly melting jagged chunks. A figure, gaunt and in a zebra-striped robe comes out, floating gently above the floor. It points it's long, rune-covered rod to Risp then, having seen who he is, turns it instead to a rock and whispers a spell. A bolt of energy archs to the rock, which cracks and warps into a fine dust. Risp, slightly unnerved by the single-mindedness of the mage, goes further in. The inside of the building is a large arena-like room, covered in protective runes and powerful force-fields to keep it from being destroyed by what goes on inside. Turning to his right, Risp sees a figure in white shooting rounds and rounds from dual pistols at automated drone targets. He carries further on, and walks to another figure, in a dark trenchcoat and carrying some kind of long dagger. He raises his voice to be heard above the guns and spells. "Veltha?"
The figure in black turns, and responds in a low, synthetic sounding tone. "Yes?"
"How is the project coming, spokesperson?"
"Well. We will be ready soon. Gho, when he feels sane enough to, says he is looking forward to the fighting. And Helix... well, you know how he is."
"Carry on."
Risp walks out, thinking. Tangent down... Veltha down... now to see what is up with Niz.

"What was that..." Malta says, looking up quickly.
"A time ebb..." Xion says, looking around. "Basically time has passed for us while time for the world has went back."
"So...where did we go to?" Tia says, clinging fearfully to Xion.
"It...looks like we have just entered the mess hall." Xion says, looking at the clock.

<i>Here is a draft for Sin. Any comments?
Sin- /neutral/
1000 d (hits all targets) 500000 hp
*demiall (halves all target's hp)
*gravity (deals 800 warp damage and slows all targets)
*pentigram (all magic deals double damage for the next three turns)
*mass transfer (steals 1/4 of target's max and current hp for the battle)
*distance (null an enemy attack/technique targeted on self; loose 1 attack next turn)
*escape (teleport back to lair, ignore anti-escape skills; takes 1 attack)
note: Sin can only use mass transfer and distance when in his domain

<i>I just looked it up...</i>
Backstory: A young man, whose name is unknown but goes by the alias Xion, within his colledge class learns about the shattering of seven gems to keep them away from evil thoughts, where these gems held infinite power. Now broken, the gems have small amounts of power. Xion, who has created a large falcon-like robotic suit, is out to recreate the seven legendary gems and gain ultomate control for the use of good. Funny thing is: So is somebody else! As the gems were scattered to prevent them to be used for evil, they are being recollected by evil. Therefore, Xion must travel the universe within his custom-built spaceship, a Raider-class named "The Anarchist" for his feel about law. Xion finds new friends, and enemies, within his quest for the gems. As Xion travels through a Bazzaar on a nearby planet, he finds a pendant with seven small crystals...More on this pendant in the story.
<i>Ok, a raider ship. That means you will finally have a good means of space travel?</i>

<i>well, we have no story...yet.</i>
another cracklefizz of Xion's radio...however he's fast asleep in his chair in front of his computer. the fizzling wakes up Tia, holding onto him from behind, where she picks the radio out. "yeh?" Tia says, half asleep.
"Diesel here, can I speak with Xion?" Diesel's voice crackling through the radio. Tia gives Xion a glance, then responds.
"He's fast asleep...and you know him when he sleeps..." Tia slips out from behind Xion, then leans on the wall. "I can take a message." she slides her body a little to the side on the wall, to reposition herself.
"Cool. Tell Xion that the Anarchist is ready for launch, maybe we can find out what is going on in the blanked region." Tia nods, and leans over to get some paper and a writing utensil. She writes the message down, and on her way up, triggers a small switch on the wall.
"Okay, got it." Tia leans off the wall just before it slides up where it would have given way to her body, and she replaces the radio. "hmm...that's new." Tia stares at the shiney black and yellow armor in the alcove, then she approaches it.
"Tia..." Xion mumbles, glancing over to her. "how did you..." Tia looks back at him, and shrugs. Tia gets the note she took, which happens to be near the switch of the alcove door, and hands it to Xion. "I see now. accident."
"Xion...what is this?" Tia says, approaching the armor, and touches the body armor.
"That's my armor...a distant past that I need to ressurect." Tia looks back at him and cocks her head sideays. "Yes...I was a cold, heartless warrior before I became a planeswalker...and I regret having to be not only a Planesmage, but a Hunter again."
"Hunter?" Tia says holding one of the gloves.
"Hunter. Ranger class, to be exact. Proficent in gunnery and accuracy." Xion stumbles up out of his chair and approaches Tia. "That's why I am so accurate with my Firaga spells. Anyways...you know this 'Anarchist' that has been the talk of Gran Da Val as of late? That's my ship...a Bird of Prey Class F Raider ship. Built from scrap parts and a transport ship into what it is now. And now that I'm a Planesmage I can take full effect of it's capabilities! I don't even have to get close to raid a ship now!"
"Xion!!" Tia shouts at Xion. "Planesmages are supposed to be peaceful and only attack in times of engagement, not for plunder!!!" Xion looks back at Tia confused.
"Who said anything about plunder? The peeps are my target in these raids, so in a way it is in a time of engagement. Where was I...oh yes. The green blankout is spreading greatly, it's size has almost doubled since last week when you noticed it. Undoubtedly this is Tangent's doing, maybe even some of his little cronies or friends...can't be too sure of much. For all I know this could be Sharkk's doing..."
"Sharkk?" Tia asks.
"Loose end, pay no mind." Xion responds, then replaces the glove Tia was looking at and closes the door. "Anarchist is complete, diesel said? Let's go up and take a look." Xion pulls Tia close to him, and in a flash of light, Tia and Xion disappear from Gran Da Val.

<i>New story piece I have been inspired to write.</i>
Tia and Xion are up in a large docking bay near a large craft. The craft, roughly 30 feet long, 22 feet wide, and 12 feet high, floats next to them. Diesel hops out from the door onto the dock, and walks up next to Xion. "She's all ready to fly, Xion."
"Excellent work, Diesel." Xion says, still with a terrified Tia clinging to him.
"So high up..." Tia says, shaking and clinging to Xion's robe. "Xion, can we get to solid ground please?" Xion nods, then guides Tia to the main area of the ship.
"Okay, I need to take care of a few things..." Xion says, leaving Tia with Diesel. "You two can just explore while I sign a few papers." Xion turns away and disappears in a blink of white light. Tia looks at Diesel, Diesel back at Tia, then they look upon the city that lays in front of them.
"Explore...right." Diesel mutters. "We're complete foreigners in a place that's gotta be a thousand miles up!" Tia shrieks and clings to Diesel. "Sorry, Tia. I completely forgot." Diesel pats Tia on the head, and Tia releases Diesel.
"It's okay, Deez..." Tia says, shaky. "I'm just terrified of heights. That's why I requested that I have a room on a floor closer to the ground."
"You have a room on the 12th floor, Tia. You're just on the North side of the tower so it looks like you're only on the first floor." Diesel says. Tact was never his strong point, and Tia lets everybody within an earshot know with a slap across his face.
"You shouldn't have told me those kinds of things you...you...you..." Tia stammers...
"Insensitive moron?" A voice says.
"Yes...Insensitive moron! Thank you..." Tia looks at where the voice came from to see a person, silver hair within a black bandanna, a long and flowing black robe extends to his ankles where two slippers can be seen. A glove on his right hand with an inscription on it holds a small deck of cards, and a familiar purple crest on his chest. Tia squeaks when she gets a look at him.
"You must be Tia. My name is Gary Dient, but a lot of people call me Gradient." Gradient says, bowing. "I'm a good friend of Xion's, though you may not realise it." Diesel turns around and looks at Gradient.
"Ah, You're this Gradient that he has spoken of in the past." Diesel gives Gradient a firm handshake. "He just went off to sign some papers so the Anarchist can be released from hold." Gradient sighs.
"Ahhh, the Anarchist. Such fond memories there. Did she ever get fixed?" Diesel nods. "Oh? Who spent all that time fixing her?"
"I did, all by myself. The principal government was none the wiser that I wasn't Xion, since they knew what he looked like when he was forced to retire from his missions." Diesel says back, then a bright white light appears behind Diesel and Tia.
"I'm ba-" Xion says, with some papers in his hands, but stopped. "...Gradient?" Xion approaches slowly, then hands the papers to Diesel. Xion and Gradient look at eachother, then hug one another. "Gary! How have you been!!" Xion says, shaking Gradient's hand.
"Random jobs, here and there..." Gradient says, shrugging a little. "Diesel fixed up your baby, I see." Xion smiles then puts his arm around Tia's shoulder.
"Yeah, and now we're free to fly. I just gotta go get Malta now..." Xion says. "Tia, you ready to say goodbye to Gran Da Val and go to Peep territory?"
"Peep territory?" Gradient inquires.
"Diesel, lead Gradient to the ship, we'll be up in a bit. Gradient, fire up the engines, mark 3-1-2-6-5." Xion says, then holds Tia close to him and both disappear in a bright flash of white light. Diesel and Gradient head off to the docks.
<i>Gradient, in this story, will be no more than a pilot. I have no intentions in using him for actual fighting.</i>

<i>As a guidline, if it allows you to get there without passing through the intervening space the heavy interdictors will block it. If this wormhole drive is a true drive in that it simply propells you around quickly with wormholes somehow, fine; the interdictors would just slow you down enough to keep you from manuvering past the defenses in place. However, if this wormhole drive is not a true drive in that it involves folding space so that the starting location and the ending location are linked (which, judging from your post explaining the wormhole drive, it does); it's wormholes would be easily collapsed by the interdictors.</i>
Xion
Jun 20, 2004, 09:14 AM
<i>ehhmmm...no. The wormhole appears, twisting through the current space, but the wormhole itself is highly compressed. It's like running a string from point A and point B.
But this only works for long distances...if I need to bounce between two, three, maybe even four plantets in a single star system I can do that on an impulse drive, which merely propels the ship itself.
A trip across the entire galaxy would have to be...oh...a good hour ride.</i>
Risp_old
Jun 20, 2004, 10:29 AM
<i>I have no idea what you are trying to say. It creates a small wormhole which can go over long distances only and does not propell the ship? And what would it being compressed solve? And which of my points were you saying ehhmmm...no to?</i>
Doubble Dutch
Jun 21, 2004, 03:09 AM
The wormhole drive, if its anything like a real wormhole, can be considered thus: Take a sheet of paper, mark on it two points far apart, these are the points the ship wants to get to, but it would take them a long time to propel themselves through all that space. Now take a short piece of string, this is the wormhole. Fold the paper so that the two points are close together and connect them with the string. Now the ship can propel itself through the short wormhole without having to cross all that space. The 'compression' referred to is basically saying a wormhole allows the ship to compress a long distance into a short trip, so yes, although the ship passes through the wormhole, it doesn't pass through the intervening space and does involve folding space.

Xion lugs a bag onto the ship and assists Tia in. "Tia, you sure that you're going to be fine?"

"You're free to explore the ship...but if a door says 'keep out' please acknowledge the request." Xion says to Malta and Diesel. "Also, please stay out of my room and Gradient's room. Blarg. I think we're better off just having random (but controlled) adventures instead of having to follow a million and five rules (not there's anything wrong with the rules Risp came up with; it's because I'm lazy and looking into Vocational Rehab).
But that doesn't mean we can't play. We c an set up a Pre-Win 3.1 thread like Rad has, or just do a Round-Robinish story.
Or we can go on destructive rampage as Masters of the Universe. ^u^
I'm willing to go on with this game, but not the way it is now. Lemme now what you think and maybe we can hack together some ideas. Right now, Hoyle Puzzle Games beckons.

<i>These million-and-one rules are in place to keep people from doing fun things like becoming invincible in all but name, and taking advantage of no standards ('berzerk allows me to attack a million times a turn! You are dead!' 'I am really hurt... I cast a low-level healing spell. Healing spells are more powerful when they are used in this type of combat, starting now. I am healed to full!').
I say round-robin style story. If you are concerned about the rules being too limiting, we could just abolish the battle system and have it all that kind of stuff done like in a normal story. I.E. 'Risp darts forward and slashes toward L_G, who just manages to dodge.' or 'Xion focuses, and flings a fireball out, which knocks Strato backwards into the wall.' This would work fine as long as people don't try to be invincible (i.e. they can be hit over and over and over without any damage, or they dodge everything effortlessly) and they don't get to ridiculous with their attacks (i.e. they destroy their opponent with a single flick of a finger without any chance of dodgeing). So we still might need a few (as in at most 5) rules... but better than what we have now, right?</i>

That's a good idea. Only one condition: Save Points, or ways people can come back so they can keep on playing. Or something.
Risp_old
Jun 28, 2004, 04:53 PM
<i>... I say no to save points. A save point means you can go back in time whenever you want and totally mess up the game. You can have bringing-back-from-the-dead stuff (as long as you can only use it well away from combat, possibly at your home base. I don't want this stuff to be too easy.) So, I guess that falls under 'ways people can come back so they can keep on playing'.
My terms here- generics and such should be, if not at the strength, near the strength of named characters. That stuff was getting ridiculous, needing armies to take out one person.</i>

<i>1. I agree attacks should have an element of unpredictability, but there is a point where it gets to be too much. Imagine, you have just unloaded your ultimate attack, which you have been setting up for for quite a while. Your enemy then makes up a technique and effortlessly counters you, then kills you with another attack they just made up that is unstopped by your defenses. Would you say this kind of flexability is a good thing?
2. Ah, that in itself is a kind of invincibility. It resembles the MAD tactics- if you kill me, I destroy the universe and kill everyone on your side.</i>

Jun 30, 2004, 05:08 PM
<i>1: That's not what I mean...I'm talking like...invention before battle, not invention in battle. Like...somebody just creates/learns a new attack that nobody but the creator is familiar with, and the one they attack has to quickly learn a way to counteract it.
2: Not at all... One plane is collapsing...another is going down with it, a parallel plane, so to speak, and I'm dying. But! I <u>must</u> be in a plane that's crashing in order for me to have proof that planes are tearing the fabric apart. And the rebuilding process is much like the building process of a kitsune's realm... I guess that you could say that all planesmages have a little kitsune in them. :p</i>

<i>1. There still is the trick that was used once or twice to run away from battle then go back into it in one post, to cure status effects and such. And what do you mean by 'nobody by the creator is familiar with'? You mean everyone knows what it does, but they don't know how the creator will use it?
2. I have no idea what you mean there. However, I still say 'I am dying' is a pretty lame excuse to be able to use a universe-destroying attack.</i>
Xion
Jun 30, 2004, 06:29 PM

Jun 30, 2004, 06:34 PM
<i>1. If you mean 'spell that can unleash enormous power' or such by 'vague description', then you are out of luck. Such a description could be ANYTHING needed by the situation, and thus could very well be full invented mid-battle.
2. So you mean that you can use it when you are only presented mortal danger, not when your body is actually being pulverized?</i>
Xion
Jul 1, 2004, 05:18 AM
<i>1: Yes and no. Yes, it can be fully invented in mid-battle, but No because it needs to have a base description. And if that base description does not say anything about freezing, paral, poison, or any of that goodstuff, then none of those effects happen. But if it says "random status effect" then it will randomly pick one...and it MUST be random.
2: Exactly. Planal Ruin can not be used in battle.

Tia, still shaking, holds onto Xion as he guides her to his room. A door, with a crudely-written "XION" on it, Xion stops at. "We're here." Xion presses a button on the door to reveal a rather lavish room. King size bed, a couch, two computers, and private bathroom with shower. Three windows look out the bow side of the craft, but they've been covered with shades so Tia doesn't freak.
"is...is it safe?" Tia stutters a bit, continuing to cling to Xion's robe.
"Very safe. For years I lived in this small cabin..." Xion says, guiding Tia to the couch.
"Small?" Tia says, looking around. "This is rather lavish."
"Nah. This is tiny compared to the room I have in Gran Da Val." Xion says, sitting himself and Tia down. Tia scoots onto Xion's lap, clinging still.
"I'm still terrified." Tia says, looking at Xion. "You're just...fearless. Nothing phases you. Delbiters? You tamed one. You single-handedly rebelled against the queen and won! You even stared death in the eyes and prevailed. Is there anything that scares you?"
Xion looks away, somewhat embarrassed. "Well...I'm afraid of..." Xion mumbles something inaudibly.
"Afraid of what..." Tia says, getting closer to him. "...Comeon...you're amoungst privacy."
Xion stares into Tia's eyes. "Afraid of..." Xion does a full body shiver, undoubtably felt by Tia, then he whispers "kitsune."
"...Those don't exist." Tia says, looking at Xion.
"...They do exist...in many planes. Not in any of the ones that you know of." Xion looks away.
"Why do they scare you?" Tia says, pulling Xion's face back to look at her slowly.
"...Kitsunes with realms are just scary things." Xion says, his voice cracking. "I once stumbled into one of their realms and they just...didn't like me. They're very protective of their realm, and they will do anything to make your life a living hell, even though they have the power to seduce and enslave anybody they want..."
"aww...poor Xion..." Tia says. "Well, hopefully there will be no kitsune where we go...and I'll protect you." Xion looks at Tia, glossy-eyed.

"So..." Tia says to Xion, eyeing up his armor. "What about your past?"
Xion sighs. "Must you pry into every aspect of my life?" Tia nods silently. "I guess...This ship is called the Anarchist. I despised the principal government and their 'rules' and their regulations of trade." Xion makes quotes with his fingers on the word 'rules'. "So I decided to go into the black market of sorts and get all my things there. Tons of things..." Xion puts on his chest armor and the gloves again. "From the biggest bazookas" A large metal bazooka, roughly 5 feet long and half a foot wide at the end, appears on Xion's shoulder in a flash of light. Tia tries to touch it but her hand goes through it.
"What the..." Tia says, still trying to grab the bazooka. Tia then tries one last time and clings to the bazooka. Xion smiles, as he flicks up an access panel on his chest armor. "How was I not able to touch it before?"
"Photon Technology. Like Magic, but can be controlled with computers instead of with hands." Xion says. "It's the basic manipulation of light into the creation of particles, such as this bazooka..." In another flash of light, the bazooka is gone and now in Xion's right hand is a small object, about the size of a brick cut in half, and white. "And this tiny little handgun."
"Like that can do any damage..." Tia says, sarcastically.
"Looks can be very deciving, Tia. Sometimes the most powerful things come in the smallest packages. Look at the Moogles!" Xion says to Tia. Tia does a full body shiver.
"Filthy little wretches..." Tia mumbles. Xion looks at Tia, confused.
"Now why is that?" Xion says. Tia looks at Xion, suprised.
"oh...nothing." Tia says. "So what can this tiny little thing do?" Tia puts her hand on the small object and Xion flinches away quickly
"This is very dangerous right now, Tia." Xion glances at a clock on the wall, a digital one. 638 it says. "I best just put it away." In a flash of light the small object is disappeared. Tia hugs Xion and whispers something in his ear. Xion gets a sly grin and hugs her back.

BAH. I LIVE, MORTALS.
In other words, I've been lazy. Here I come! >=)
L_G sat there, waiting. Kamikura fiddled with the camera for a bit, but it soon spewed out smoke and exploded in a shower of sparks. "Is this really necessary?" Kamikura asked, wiping the soot from his face. "Can't you just email him or something?"
"They can trace it, and unless I tell them what really happened when I came to the JCF, they'll hunt me down like those accursed Flying Lizards in JJ2," L_G replied. "I'll make another one," he said as Kamikura was about to fetch another camera.
With a snap of his fingers and a mere thought, a brand new digital video recorder materialized on the tripod. "This one won't blow up, I promise!" said Kamikura gleefully as he turned it on.
L_G smirked. "Don't worry. It's so easy to use, I doubt even you can wreck it."
Kamikura gave him a 'I'm a lot smarter than that' look, then said, "We're rolling. Start whenever you're ready."
L_G cleared his throat and began:
"Greetings Risp, and/or Stratn if you're there. If you're watching this, you may think I'm about to announce my plans for universal domination, but that is not true. I am not the enemy you're searching for. All this time, ever since I set foot on the JCF, the L_G you've been fighting is an imposter, intending to destroy me by any means necessary. And he could have succeeded if I hadn't sent the Elemental Guardians after him. He could have taken over my dimension, yours, and many others, but that isn't important. What is important is that he must be punished for the crimes against both of us and others that have suffered. Leaders of the Peep Army, I give to you Newb, the real enemy behind this conspiracy!"
The camera swiveled to L_G's right, pointing at a set of double metal doors. the doors opened, and as cold mist filled the room, the inside of the room was revealed. Kamikura and L_G gasped in shock.
It appeared that something was kept in here before, but there was nothing but shards of red ice and a huge blast mark on the wall. It looked like the blast was meant to puncture a hole in the wall, but failed somehow.
"This...this is impossible!!" stammered L_G.
"Well, you DID give him super author powers," Kamikura remarked, holding the camera over his shoulder.
"But nothing like this! We have to find him immediately!!!"
"Should I stop recording?"
"No," L_G began. "If we stop recording, we won't have any evidence to prove this happened."
"Well, what SHOULD we do? Newb nearly wiped us out once before..."
"Put everyone on full alert. Goku, Sonic, Optimus, everyone. We're rounding up the Dream Fighters bagging us a marshmallow. Maybe we can find Nadia too...and give that camera to a Lakitu, for goodness' sake!!!"
Kamikura rolled his eyes. "Of course, how silly of me." He handed it over to a turtle-like creature who was floating on a cloud somewhere in his vicinity, as if it had been there forever. He seemed anxious to put the camera on a fishing pole and dangle it overhead, recording Kamikura's movements, which he thought was pretty lame. 'In all the games I played, the camera was never held by someone else. L_G must be more insane than I thought...and is leaving without me. Get a move on, genius!' he thought to himself as they headed outside to the garage.
I'll try to minimize Video Game/Anime/Cartoon appearances as much as possible this time around.

Over in the peep base, in the left side, Risp sat. He watched the parade grounds below, as the regiments of peeps marched back and forth to a background of drums. He looked up, and saw a fleet of ships - his ships - in orbit, drifting decievingly slowly, like alligators pretending to be logs. Aircars speed industriously around, as far as the eye can see, transporting supplies and troops all across the world. Over the horizon bases are being built and defences constructed. Workers work night and day to make more, more buildings. The new center of the Peep Army is being built...

"What the hell was that?" Xion says, rushing into the cockpit of the Anarchist.
"I have no clue!" Gradient says, panicing and rushing all over the controls. "It was like a huge rupture through space and time...as if something big is loose."
"Awww sh-" A huge spacecraft blows past them almost putting them into a barrel roll. Xion flies off to the side. "Tia's not gonna be happy about this!" Tia runs out into the cockpit and quickly clings to Xion as he's getting up.

"We're trying to find that out, Tia." Malta pokes her head into the cockpit.

Xion, Tia, and Malta head back into a room with a beautifully written "Malta" on it. The door opens to a large room, much akin to those back on Gran Da Val, but with computers around. "Malta...what did you do with this room?" Xion says, looking around amazed.
"I figured that a planesmage will need the happenings on any problems, so I found this room with a large amount of busted computer parts and refurbished them." Malta says, sitting down in a chair with a Keyboard that pulls across the lap. "I bet you didn't know I was such a tech savvy person!" Malta smiles, as she scoots across the room to a monitor. "This is what I want to show you." She presses a few keystrokes and the movie taken of Lem begins to play.
"In the name of everything good and holy..." Xion says, watching the video. "I'm so happy that I combined planesmagick and technology so I can keep tabs on the government so many years ago...but now this is actually being used for good!" Another rock of the ship launches Tia and Xion back, but Malta reacted quickly and grabbed onto a ledge with her foot. Xion gets up and heads to the cockpit again. "Gradient!"
"yessir!" Gradient says, swiveling in the chair to look at Xion.
"Initiate the Jumpdrives. We're going into peep territory. Now." Xion says to Gradient, very stern.

L_G and Kamikura jumped into the front seats of L_G's Toyota Sienna. It looked like an ordinary minivan, but L_G upgraded it like you wouldn't believe. Nitrus, Anti-lock brakes, advanced tracking systems, forcefield, roof mounted lasers and rockets, and over a dozen cupholders for long trips.
Sleeping in the back was L_G's oddest creation to date, a Chao named Guzz. Fused with a Pikachu, a Bomchu, A Chu Chu, and all of the insane leftover ideas he had from older, failed plans, Guzz was around to help, while inducing chaos and annoyance in everyone.
Plus, he had tendency to self-destruct randomly. He could reform himself, but at the cost of half his remaining strength.
Yep, L_G had definately gone overboard.
As they pulled out the driveway and peeled out into the street, Guzz hung onto a window like so many Garfield plushies while the Lakitu hovered around inside the van, recording everything that was going on. Suddenly, they screeched to a halt. Guzz fell off the window, shouting something about hairballs as he fell.
There he was- Newb, laying there in the middle of the street, seemingly unconsious. He indeed was a Kirby repaint, but all L_G did when he made him was paint his feet purple and put a black baseball cap on him. Drawing their weapons, L_G and co. exited the vehicle while Guzz crawled out and said, "Oh hector, I pine for you..." as it he had been reciting one of Strong Bad's e-mails.
L_G trained his Blitz Cannon on Newb while Kamikura had his lightsaber out. The Lakitu followed. "Think he's dead?" asked Kamikura.
"No way," replied L_G. "He could surive a fast-moving semi truck and all he'd get is a bruise or two.
"What about a tank?"
"Yeah, a tank would definately put him out cold-"
It happened very quickly. A purple blur shot from out of nowhere and moved behind L_G, and as the stranger breathed on him, L_G could feel every ounce of energy leaving his body, dropping him into unconsiousness before he fell over in a heap, lifeless.
The purple blur then turned on Kamikura, slicing him to ribbons in a matter of seconds. The figure ignored Guzz, as he was busy dancing on a trash can lid. The Viera assassin admired her handiwork; one warrior was out of the picture, while the other was being dragged by Newb. The Lakitu stayed to continue recording everything, and neither seemed to mind.
"So much for my old plan.." Newb grunted. Dragging an inert body isn't as easy as it looked, especially if you were only a few feet tall. "Lemme help you with that," the Viera said, picking up L_G and carried him piggy-back. Newb smiled.
"One more thing..." Newb turned to the minivan and shot a bolt of lighting from his hand, destroying the vehicle and everything in it.
"Um, aren't we supposed to keep this a low profile?" asked the Viera.
"No one's going to notice. There's only NPCs living in this neighborhood, and they don't pay attention to anything," replied Newb in a confident voice.
"Of course, how silly of me."
They both laughed evilly, and the Lakitu followed. Whether Guzz was paying attention or not, no one knew. All he was doing was singing various Weird Al songs and jumping on people's rooftops. Of course, the NPCs didn't notice this either.

a Chao named Guzz. Fused with a Pikachu, a Bomchu, A Chu Chu, and all of the insane leftover ideas he had from older, failed plans, Guzz was around to help, while inducing chaos and annoyance in everyone.<i>WHAT THE...
...Let me get this picture right.
A chao...a pikachu...a bomchu...a chu chu...and anything else you had left?
What kind of Victor Frankenstein are you?!</i>
"XION!" Malta screams from the back of the ship. Xion turns back and rushes back. Another rocking of the ship...Xion gets slammed against the wall, and knocked cold.
...Xion wakes up. Glancing at the wall clock...300. "My head..." Xion says in a moan. He tries to get up, but notices that the passage has seemingly gotten shorter. The area is very dark. Xion mumbles a few words under his breath, laying on his back, and a small blue light appears in his hands. Noticing now that the entire ship is cocked sideways, he looks to the area with the cockpit. "Gradient!"
Gradient swivels in his chair, undoubtably strapped in. "Something wrong, Xion? You were knocked out for quite a while. Jumpdrive has been enabled, we should be at the edge of peep territory by 346."
"Ya think there's something wrong here? First of all the lights are out, and secondly THE SHIP IS ON A TILT!!!" Xion says, a little angered. Gradient turns around, looking at the outside. The outside is a wormhole, pale blue and white mixing and interweaving around in itself. Gradient swivels back around and gives Xion a confused look. "Try holding your arm out straight. Then relax it. Watch where it goes." Gradient extends his arm straight out in front of him, then lets it go, flopping off to the left. "See? The Gravity is stuck on the left. Readjust it, please."
"umm...how?" Gradient questions. Xion suddenly appears at the left side of Gradient, clinging to the chair. "How'd you do that?"
"Blink. Planesmage ability." Xion calmly says, then presses a few buttons on the control panel. A few moments later, the lights come back on and Xion is on his feet. "Get some rest, Gradient. I'll take it from here." Gradient nods, unbuckles, and goes back to his room. "Oh, and Gradient..." Gradient looks back at Xion. "...Where's Tia?"
"In your room, in your bed...last I saw." Gradient says.
"And I bet the last you saw was before you accidentally put the ship on a tilt." Xion says, pressing a few buttons. The word "AUTOPILOT" appears on the screen and Xion heads back into his room.
Sure enough, Tia's fast asleep in the edge of the room. Xion lifts her in his arms, and puts her in the bed. Xion covers her up, and she rolls over with a sigh. Xion heads out to Malta's room to see how she is. Malta's fast asleep in front of the computer, with a note attached to it. The note reads as follows:
"Xion, I have some footage to show you. Let me know when I wake up. Malta."
Xion pockets the note, pats Malta on her head, then heads back to the cockpit. Xion sits down in the chair, straps in, and maintains the controls.

I must have mistyped that. I meant that L_G fused a Chao (Chao can absorb the traits of animals, if you remember Sonic Adventure), and Bombchu. Then L_G programmed it to say and do random things.
Alas, I'm not a Frankenstein. I'm more like one of those Shapers from Geneforge. X)

Diesel shuffles out from his room, across from Malta's room, and into the cockpit area. "My head..." Diesel moans, and Xion turns around to look at him.
"Blame Gradient. He put the ship on a tilt without knowing it." Xion says, calmly. "So what are you up to?"
"I'm just gonna head back and check on the engines, see what's up." Diesel says, then starts to turn back.
"Diesel..." Xion says, Diesel turns to look at him. "When the ship was on a tilt, the lights were out for some reason. Can you check that out?" Diesel nods, and heads back. Xion swivels around, and looks at the infinite space in front of him.

Xion, completely passed out at the captain's chair, is abruptly awoken when the ship suddenly shifts. "What the..." Xion mumbles, looking at the gigantic objects in space only a few yards away. Malta, Tia, and Diesel come to the cockpit to see what happened that the ship would shift like it did. "Well..." Xion says, swiveling around to look at the three. "We're here."

"What do we do now?" Malta asks, looking at the large objects out in space.
"We...wait." Xion says.
