Co-op, Race in Internet Play

Ok, was there ever a JJ2 launcher released that can correctly play CO-OP and Race in multiplayer? Or was it just CO-OP that was messed up. Yeah, like me and a group of friends trying to beat the whole entire game starting from teh beginning?

Neither work correctly in multiplayer, and there is no JJ2 launcher that corrects all problems. For Co-op, you could cycle to the next level using Project Controller whenever someone reaches the end, but there still isn't anything that allows clients to be killed. As for Race, it has a fairly decent work around which involves using Treasure mode and triggers for each lap, but I'm not going to go into details.

I was on a co-op server once, but I couldn't get hurt or see any other players.

I could see other players, but not getting hurt was always boring.

I'm wondering... if you made all enemies using MCEs instead of the normal events, would it work then?

Someone should try that. I'd do it myself, but due to lack of working online play function and knowledge of MCEs I can't.

I was working on a program that could make co-op work. But... couldn't get it working.

It wouldn't help.
