What type of JJ2 player are you?
And one poll for J2O. Some copypasta:
Producer: Usually a levelmaker. Also can be a programmer. Sometimes a tileset maker, though those are rare these days. Consumer; Usually a competitive player, or was one. They often stick to a small selection of CTF levels. Complete casual: Takes what maps are there, doesn't focus on certain maps, nor create anything. May be a retired player. Both: Makes maps and plays competitively

A lurking consumer, though I strive to become more of a producer. I voted for 'both' anyway.
Thinking about that, aside from 2 SP levels I haven't released anything worthwhile. Perhaps my new laptop I'll receive today will change that. I just don't see myself sitting upstairs all day long drawing a tileset or clicking on 32x32 tiles, yet small creative sessions on the couch might be more appealing. ![]()

If you produced something before, then it's something, reguardless of whether you consider it good or not.

Producer, however I haven't ever released anything(Although, in the past I've tried to make several big projects, most of which showed promise, but were stopped for various reasons. The most recent of which being my Laptop dying, so that one will probably come back whenever I can get a new fan for it).
I am mainly a producer of levels, although I am in progress of making a Tileset. ![]() |

Producer.
Mostly tileset making and programming. Levelmaking is also fun but I have never made anything good enough for uploading. And when it comes to tilesets I'm incredibly slow. I have one set that I started around 2005-2006 which is still unfinished. Almost done though so hopefully it will appear on j2o in a not too distant future. |

I am both, but as producer, I suppose low just because my creation skills are low... Or then I am just too shy to public them. But mainly I am consumer.

Artist: 4/10
Coder: 1/10 Competitor: 1/10 Level Maker: 3/10 Musician: 1/10 Programmer: 0/10 Resolutor: 2/10 Single Player: 2/10 Required skills for a decent Jazz Jackrabbit remake: Artist: 8/10 (Somebody like Agama) Coder: 5/10 Level Maker: 8/10 Musician: 9/10 (Alexander Brandon was really good at it) Programmer: 7/10 |

Well, a coder uses a ready coding program like AngelScript, while a programmer creates the game from pure binary code!

What if 01 = win and 10 = lose?

I think having level 7 skilled developers would result in taking 4 years to fully develop the game, while having level 10 developers would only take 6 months.
