Maybe changing the song to ''J2B'' would help, otherwise, I dont know.

Alright, then. Where is a program that will convert mods to j2bs?

What format is the music you want to use in JCS? Remember that JCS does not support MP3, WMA, WAV, CDA or SND file extensions.

SPAZ18, it's an .it file, as indicated by the file name "ck13th.it"

Janus, use MOD2J2B.

Short answer:
Learn to use command prompt.

Detailed answer:
Okay, run cmd (Start->run->cmd), cd all the way to the directory where MOD2J2B is and type this in: 'mod2j2b yourtune.it' (replacing yourtune.it with the tune you want to convert)

This is becoming a common problem. If there's some FAQ, it should be added, IMO

Okay, I found out that by dragging a mod file onto the exe, you can convert the file without using the dos prompt. The trouble is...now it says..

Hmm... was the IT file something else you converted to IT? If you convert a MP3 or WAV to IT, it'll be huge and not run.

XMPlay says the IT version is 8.88 which means the file is made in MODPlug and doesn't work in all players. MODPlug is something which you wouldn't want to touch anyway.

EDIT: It doesn't seem load in original Impulse Tracker either. I'm quite sure you have to get a new mod

Chances are I'd suggest a new music. I'm not sure if the file is too big or if jj2 simply cant play it (which is possible).

However, you might want to try downsampling several samples (will slightly reduce the quality of the tune though) and then converting to J2B using mod2j2b, and if it still refuses to play then you're out of luck.

edit: i have that tune (ceekayed rocks ;P) and its only 800kb. It's not an issue of size. I don't think there's any way to get it to work that doesn't include messing a lot with the song and permanently changing it, so just find another tune.

It could be a corrupt file, try downloading it again or getting it from another site.

JJ2 doesn't like .it files. I would guess most problems with .it tracks outside of size have to do with the instruments used. There's a good chance the track wouldn't sound right in JJ2 anyway. If downsampling doesn't help, I would suggest either trying to convert it to some other format (which may have some undesired effects) or trying to find another song (preferably not .it). I don't think converting the file to a j2b will help in this situation.

Sorry but I couldn't see the pic before but now I can. Stupid Internet Explorer.

EDIT: My level pack is using .IT files and they work, so I dunno what's causing this.

I just remembered something. I've seen that input error before when the mod file was compressed, and so I resaved it in Modplug Tracker (the size came out to be 1,243 KB) and now it partially works. Not surprisingly, it doesn't sound right in JJ2. I would say some of it actually sounds a little better if there weren't samples out of tune among other problems. It's probably all fixable to some degree.

o.O Whoa! Resaving it does work, but it sounds weird now. Is there any form of re-saving that will make it sound right in JJ2?

Nope. It has to do with JJ2's inability to play instrument effects properly. You would basically have to get rid of the instruments and adjust the samples until the track sounds like the original.
