JJ2 music editor?
One day while browsing this site, I stumbled upon an editor that could open and edit the game's music files. I didn't download it, and now I can't find it. Does anyone here know of it?

I don't know about any such editor on J2O. OpenMPT is free tracker software that can import J2B files and I have no doubt it's far better at it than anything that you might find on J2O. It allows you to open and edit them but it cannot export to the J2B file format. However, that's probably not something you need. Even if you expressly want to overwrite the original game files for some reason, JJ2 can read IT files just fine, even if their file extension is replaced with ".j2b".

You might refer to Jazztrack, although it is not for editing the original music files, but rather create music with the sound library. It seems highly experimental and not with a lot of features. For opening .j2b files and for having an all-round better tracker I also suggest having OpenMPT.
