i mean that two good individual players don't neccesarily make a good team and it's all about their chemistry (which also improves as the more they play together). for example, sucer and i make a great team and barely ever lose together, while whenever i play with sj we get owned.

I gotta agree with R3ptile a bit though, most of it.
Good duelists stay good duelists usually, and are always hard to beat in any level..
I dunno about 2v2's.. but I cant play with every player.. so yeah uh.. its just my vision.

;| worst post ever

i already said that there is no such a thing "great team players", only good individual players. it's the team that's good, not a single player.

Everyone has to agree with this, but there are also some players who are better generally at teamplay than others.
There are good teamplayers, and bad teamplayers. But it's not so easily classified. A good team is 37% chemistry 49% skill and 14% playstyle. My playstyle is made to own an attacking player while it just sucks againts a defensive one. Of course it's easy to beat an attacking player if you just run away and leave seeks to the corridors, but again it's more complicated than that.

The best teammates for me are my brothers and kind persons that dispite of the fact that they are much better in JJ2 than me, they still do what I ask them to do.

When playing with r3p...

R3p: e1, 1
Sucer: r3, die! (not preferable in this situation)

And then without having to wait two minutes, r3p dies immediadly, get's C or gives further advices.

When playing with Mave...

Mave: 1 go r
Sucer: r3

I wait for one minute meanwhile which the opponent comes to the base and hits me and goes rts.

Sucer: DD
Enemy roasted Mave
blue team scored a point
Mave: And you just possibly couldn't say DD erlier
Sucer: Please die on time
Mave: No!

So chemistry and playstyle do a lot in 2vs2. Some people's playing style fits to most personalities and strategies meanwhile others don't.

Back to the topic

If the lower bracket is played, can me and Happy replace a forfeiting team?

mYm is back with old rosters {Mav & Eminey}.
I've already talked with him and he agreed.

@ Sucer:

The worst theory I've ever heard.I'm not interested in arguing with you, who is better etc. because I've been playing jj2 longer than you and I know what should I do during the game.
And I don't trust people whose R is 20 tiles away from base while enemy is rts.Accept tha]t.
Start new topic if you want to talk about jj2 theory but you should know that knowing it won't help you in being good player.

Mave, I kinda like Sucers explanation actually. He stated what I think too =)

And, in 2v2's its a matter of TRUST too. TRUST that the player is R. ;P

Yes, and also TRUST that your partner knows what he is doing. Of course if you see your partner doing something stupid you can tell that to him, but there's no need to lose your trust becouse of that you see your partner camping at seek PU when you have said 1. Just tell him 1 again, if he just continues camping there, you can add some dramatical shouting marks and say like: 1!!!!!. If your partner is idiot enough to continue camping at the Pu, change partner.

Of course one team has to blunder, otherwise there would be no scores. You shouldn't lose your trust just becouse your partner blunders. Then just take more responsibility, control the center of the level more, DD and try to command your partner to do stuff.
Veg has given me a great example of this. He and an anonym player beat Sperry and sweet this way. Veg noticed that the anonym player wasn't quite experienced in teamplay, and realized that he had to take more responsibility. (which he doesn't need to take when playing with a 1337 teamplayer like Gry/Yax/r3p)
He commanded the anonym player to do stuff and when the player obeyed, the teamplay worked well.

Ok end of this discussion. Lol, Mave I can teach you more stuff if you like. Just contact me via Msn. In a few years you might reach my level

That's what I was TRYING to do. I just spoiled the whole thing by getting hit by an airhit and then suffering from the lagclone, while the real player had already gone to the base.
These were noob mistakes I know. I should have count the possibility of a lagclone, CTO and airhit, and just go a bit off the base and shoot some seeks. But that's what happens when I try to be creative:P

N/A No Ammo (or little, no powerups)
H/A Half Ammo (at least one powerup, some other types too but not near 50 and not powered up)
F/A Full Ammo (all powerups, all ammo above 30 bullets or so)

I consider at least 1 (bouncer/RF) pu as half ammo.
Seek as full ammo, depending on the level.
and some useless pu as n/a :P
also, if I dont have any power up, but quite some normal ammo, I take that as h/a

actually only blaster, bouncer, freezer, seeker, RF and toaster can be powered up. the pepper and electro powerups don't count as powerups for me.

"YAYA I TOOK THE ELECTRO PU."
now, that pu is totally useless to me, so I'll just say "N/A" ;P

A little more explanation, from the CTF codes guide:

F/A ("full ammo") - less important
When to say F/A: When you're "R" or "RTS", with some or all power ups available.
What to do when teammate says F/A: Nothing really, it just gives you a safer feeling.
Explanation: It's good to know if your teammate can defend oneself; the more ammo, the higher the chances of survival (so when he is R3 FA and you die, it's no problem).

H/A ("half ammo") - less important
When to say H/A: When you're "R" or "RTS", but with only some non-powered up ammo.
What to do when teammate says H/A: Nothing really, just be careful (don't die unless .
Explanation: It's good to know if your teammate can defend oneself; the more ammo, the higher the chances of survival (it's risky if you die while you're in a better state; more health and more ammo, than your teammate who is R).

N/A ("no ammo") - less important
When to say N/A: When you're "R" or "RTS", but with no ammo (or crappy ammo, like freezer and TNT).
What to do when teammate says N/A: Nothing really, just be extra careful.
Explanation: It's good to know if your teammate can defend oneself; the more ammo, the higher the chances of survival (it's risky if you die while you're in a better state; more health and more ammo, than your teammate who is R).

No lies at all, we use A LOT of teamchat during (important) matches, including the NA/HA/FA. It's a vital part of our teamplay. :P
