Jazz 1 error

I am running windows XP and when I try to run jazz 1 I get this error:
Quote:
Rentime Error 200 at 0009:37F2
Just wondering if I can get it to work.

I had just had to reformat my HD to be able to get into windows, so I lost everything. After JCS 94 was released, I Re-installed Jazz1, and now I can't get it to work.

I don't know if this TPatch thing (or whatever it is called) will help, and if it will, where do I find it?

Thanks!

Oh, and my PC stats, incase you need them:
Athlon 1.6 processer
HD Space: 40Gig
Ram: 1Gig
50x CD drive (not like it matters)

Thanks!

That's exactly the problem which TPPATCH fixes... Link's article can be found here: http://www.jazz2online.com/articles/view.php?id=17 and includes a link to download it...

I guess it would've been good of us to include a link to that since this it's likely you're not going to be the only person in this situation.

Thanks, I can play jazz again!

The sound is really choppy.

What do I do for that?

Thanks!

I think the way to fix that would be not running TPATCH, although that would mean there is no JJ1 and no sound whatsoever. I guess it wouldn't be choppy, though.

I never had problems with the sound on Windows 98, but it's always choppy for me on Windows XP\2000. Some people have had luck with VDMS.
