Please note, this instruction doesn't explain the nature of hex editing in its entirety, nor does it explain why it's smart to create a backup file before editing and/or testing. However, anyway, what does seem to happen is if the value at (row 00181B40, column 0F) is changed from "08" to "00" is: the frames per second (FPS) will be unlimited. Unfortunately, this hack does introduce a cheat, such that upon being roasted during internet battle games, the area of the level where the player was roasted remains visible temporarily for a splitsecond, while the character respawns. Several players of Jazz Jackrabbit 2+ version 5'12 on the internet seem to have gotten this hacked plus DLL file already. Some people might think it's cheating; just saying
