no one can join my games!

Unhappy no one can join my games!

Can someone help me. I had this same problem when i play other online games.

I am on a Local Area Network.
connected to a proxy server (I think)
and behind a firewall.

PLEASE HELP!

Have you unblocked the correct ports?

how do i do that?

Im Using Windows ME,

Im Using on a Local Area Network(LAN)

I connect to the internet thur another computer (a server)
and the computer is hooked up to a cable modem.

and the server is behind a firewall.


I hope this helps!

PS: The server's OS is Windows 2000 advance server.

Read the firewall's manual for instructions on opening up ports 10052-10057. Each firewall is different.

ok tell me if i did this right, first you go to network properties for my cable modem, then i click on the internet sharing tab, and then go to avance properties and then the options for opening the the ports will be there?

I have had bad luck forwarding ports using a Windows Server. The option is there, but it didn't seem to work for me.

Can someone PLEASE give me step by step info on how to open the ports on Windows 2000?
