Keep getting disconnected from games

Here's what happens: I connect perfectly fine, play for around 30 seconds and then I get disconnected with the msg "Network error" appearing. I'm using Jazz JCR v1.23. i've tried connecting to a variety of servers but same problem occurs.

Can anybody help? if you need to know more info, just ask.

Do you have a firewall? IF so, open ports 10052-10054 on them outgoing and ingoing. That should work, if not try opening ports 10052-10057 ingoing and outgoing

Then the other computer is probably acting as your router. Does IT have a firewall?

My inexpert guess is your DSL connection. Some companies have firewalls on them to help you be protected.

Either that or it's your computer. Have you tried installing JJ2 on the other computer that you are linked to and try from there?

If you are on a network with other computers, it is very likely that you have either a router or a computer acting as one. You need to find that out. Ask whomever set up your network what the configuration is, and how to configure it. In any case, you will need to forward ports 10052-10054 to the JJ2 computer, and you need to look in the documentation for your router\software on how to do that.

Can you give some more details about your network? How many computers are on it, and what operating systems do they use?
