shaney's logo has a lot of white buggys

and urbs nice logo but i bit easy because ur signature is the same.

Urbs -> during your jazzes animation, the whole body shakes a bit. I think you should make it that only the gun itself moves. It's good though.

The colors make it not fit into the JDC site at all. It's a quick change of your own signature. It's too big. It has a useless border.

ok, i'll delete the border, i thought the banner was for this forum(so the bc is yellow ) and i modified the banner for urbss sig not the other way around.

I think you should make it unanimated. It just looks strange to have the arm suddenly move up without any movement of the rest of the body.

Critique is very welcome.

The text is way too small. Make it at least 1 size larger, and add a JDC font in the middle of that blue, warpy thing. It won't ruin it too much if the font is thin, I think, but I'm not a very good designer. ;P The rest looks cool. Urbs and Nightmare's are the best-looking ones, though Urbs' colour theme doesn't fit JDC's colours (too milk-chocolatey).

@Bigbelly: edit out Spaz's hand on Jazz's shoulder. It's creepy, and reminds me of that Jurassic Park velociraptor scene with the chewed off arm...

ehm bigbelly i find it not amusing and lazy urbs lets some one else build his logo i say upload a homebuild own logo then enter it for sportmanship if i could i have a friend that could build a 3d jdc logo but i builded 3 my self

Actually, we found your entry funny because it basically broke all the rules. Besides the fact that it's uglier than Dr. Ruth Westhiemer.

uhm eh? 1st as 1st i didnt ask for the sig shaney, 2nd of all, I only showed bigbelly this competition because he obviously has some knowledge in this area, and 3rd of all, when did I claim credit for his work?

Ohh and by the by, out of all the new logos i like bellys and eagles the most, but i think that none of the new logos fits on the jdc page like spaztic's( the old one) does. i'm not saying that the new ones arent as good or better, but the colo scheme is the best on the old one, it melts perfectly with the surrounding background on its right side. Thats just my opinion.

there is a post when bigbelly says i will be working on the logo for urbs so that mean Bigbelly is creating a new one for your entrance

Totaly agree, i'd be nice if he commended on all new logo's no one has even rated my last and updated entry on page 3 yet

I think bigbelly's entry is great but maybe doesnt really fit into the jdc colour theme either, and i dont think a animation is a good idea... but then again who am i

Spaztic is the person who designed the JDC site, so that makes sense.

Just as a general reminder, let's keep all the stupid JDC squabbles off to another thread so I won't be forced to read people bickering with each other. It's one of the things I really want to see less of this season, and I am sure that goes for a lot of other people as well.


Tomorrow I am going to post an update to this and announce the deadline. I'm impressed with the submissions so far, the quality is much better than I expected.
