Good tileset containing 190 tiles from an old Nintendo game (as far as i know: i never owned consoles…only emulators :-).
It looks pretty funky, coloured and has a fair amount of basic structures and objects from the original game. Of course, the quality of the images (pixel size) isn’t too great but thats not the authors fault but a problem of Nintendo’s programmers a few years ago :-)
The ZiP archive also includes a nice SP example level which tries to show all main aspects of the tileset. The music file that should play the original theme from the game, doesn’t work because the author (who seems to be from Switzerland by the way) set it wrong in the level properties…

Overall, i think a talented level builder will be able to create some nice levels using this. All you tileset freaks: DOWNLOAD NOW!

I have to agree with Aiko on every part of his review. The tileset even if Pixel size was better, they are still kinda….Low in eyecandy (But NES games were low on eyecandy :-) (Perhaps a Mario All Stars version would be prettier….)

P.S. I doubt I will ever finish my SMW pack. It takes too long to copy from the book.

Nothing much to add to Aiko’s review, has some nice tiles (a little choppy), also includes a nice little example level with music (that doesn’t play)

Overall I’m sure someone would want to d/l this.

Copy the Music file in the same Directory with the *.exe-file, so, it must work…

DO NOT use subfolders! JJ2 & Captain Cook can’t find them if they are in subfolders. ;)

If it’s Multiple do I review both the Tileset and Level?
