Description

You are a test rodent ‘participating’ on an experiment. The test makers me were too lazy to cover the whole place so that the test subjects would be in completely ‘natural’ enviroment. As a result, some of the bars holding the place are still visible…

Ahem. This is the real entry for FS’s contest, category 2. The leaders are confined to the boss arenas, and have a quick-respawining ammo stock with them. They also have two +1 carrots respawning every 8 seconds. The ‘normal’ players will get more power every time they die, and this gets reset if a boss dies.

I would suggest that it would be played with about 16 players, not sure if more would make the level crowded. I have to upload this level without any beta testing, due to the fact that nobody could host it when I could play.

Please report any (tile)bugs here.

Rate 10 8 7.

Edit: Removed the two diamondus arenas, because they violated the contest rules. The contest version is now XLMSimulatedc.j2l.
I want to keep the original because of better gameplay…

Edit: Obi requests…
Boss arenas, in no particular order:
-Bad Pitt, Damn2.j2l
-Knight Cap, Castle1n.j2l
-A Cold Day In Heck, Hell.j2l
-Diamond Rabbit – Diam001.j2l
-Fourteen Carrot, diam2.j2l
-Carrot Juice, Carrot1n.j2l

Major fix, as in edit in one single tile.

Now looking at a bug: The scores do not happen if capturewait is on… Editing level as I speak.
E: Level works even if capturewait is on.

Sorry for being late, but I was in a hurry for this, so you don’t get the full review.

I will say the eyecandy is great, but i get confused as to what the ground is.

The layout is great, small, but kinda hard to learn.

The boss has an unfair advantage with quick respawning ammo (like 2s or something) and the grunts never get access to +3 ammo. That’s not quite nice.

I don’t know much about good levels, but this isn’t one of them.

7/10

The boss is meant to have an unfair advantage, and the minions are planned to die quick, so that they don’t need ammo.

I really like these levels, especially the tileset. I can make a single player level and change background from normal to textured. The tileset is the fix of FooMergev2 tileset. I really like it, because there are mixed worlds for my thoughts. Impressive work. The music is so fast-paced, I can make an mp3 format using Total Audio MP3 Converter and use it for my own level in other games, because mp3 formats fit to them very well.
